I saw GPX route files on the Hot Springs rally page for download. I see that the Pro version of Rever can import these.
Any other software that you guys use/recommend? (iPhone)

You should be able to open these in Google maps
Look at MRA. May be the current best for iphone.

(I'm not sure if this is the best forum or not for this -- Mods feel free to move it if there's a better one.)
First off, I don't even have BRP connected to my phone... I gave up on it. I use a "dash" mounted phone connected my cardo in my helmet via Bluetooth.
I also am going to the Hot Springs Rally next month, and they have .GPX files to import, but Rever requires the premium edition to do so.
I typically just use Apple maps or Google maps for GPS guidance, and if I want to try backroads, I set "avoid highways", but that rarely accomplishes exactly what I want, and I manually select another route, etc. But I do have Rever downloaded, just haven't signed up and used it yet. Someone else suggested MyRouteApp.
So, that's all a long intro to ask what phone app are you using to plan / track / provide nav guidance, etc. on your phones? Preferably one that allows for easy screenshots or sharing to the web/social media after it's done. Perhaps also allows for location tagged notes/photos for searching later? Also can import GPX files for runs, etc?
I have used Scenic, Sygic and inRoute. I have subscriptions to Scenic and Sygic. They all import and export .gpx files and Scenic can import Google map routes. Free to download and try.

I use Scenic and love it
+1 on the MRA. Great app and easy to use
I will 2nd the previous poster. MyRoute App is, in my opinion, the best all round routing app, regardless of the device.
I used to like the Rand McNally paper maps.
We bought a new Garmin for the trip from AK to AR in 2019. It sent me down a wrong road in Iowa and took me 20 miles out of the way before I caught the error. I have used it very little since that time.
Yep. Garmin has gotten a lot better (my built-in nav for my car still uses Garmin), but I used separate Garmin dashboard devices for the cage since they first came out, until the smartphones made them obsolete, imo. I used to end up in farmer's fields, dead ends where the ferry doesn't run anymore, and all of that. Part of the adventure I guess. But that hasn't happened with the current shared data apps like Apple Maps, Google, Waze, etc.
