Moved the left floorboard from "3" to "4". Once I saw how easy it was, I ordered the Lamonster "4" brake rod, which will allow me to move the right floorboard to position "4" and lower the brake pedal angle. I haven't liked the brake position/angle since I got the bike a month ago, and now I'm going to make that adjustment for a more comfortable ride. The dealer forgot to fit me for Ufit, and I don't want to bring it back. Less aggravation to just DIY. And let's face it, it's fun to work on the bike......
Replaced the battery on my '16 RT-S Dale
Not today but in the last week my 19 RTL has gotten a Baja Ron sway bar, Lamonster highway pegs, Lamonster belt tensioner and a 22" windshield.
I know mine made quite a difference.
My project for today, tackform phone mount from Motorcycle Dave mounted on Lamonster's spydercuff. Had to tap the ball to 1/4 by 20 from metric and use a longer cap screw but works great.
Shameless plug for 2 of our sponsors...
Added the Zumo XT to my 2020 RTL. 3M auto double back tape to a 2 1/2" 1" ball base mounted to the dash and ran the connection out from the slot in the back of the dash (gently bent the opining wider to pull the connection through).

I installed the touring windshield that came with the Spyder I got. I've only rode with it once. Not sure if I like it... Looks less sporty.
I modified my old Sena SMH10 to fit my wife's brain bucket. Now we can talk via intercom (to my Sena 20S Evo) or she can shut me down and just listen to tunes via bluetooth from her phone.
Installed touring windshield, driver backrest and passenger arms rest. All OEM, installation was like a walk in the park.
Did you have any problem installing the arms rests and the rear panel fitment?
Not at all, followed the installation guide.
The sway bar made a big difference cornering, well worth the money to me. I'm very happy with the results. Also very happy with the belt tensioner, i had some slight vibration that i just thought was normal or maybe from lugging the engine at times. The tensioner took all of that out. When i had my HD's i would add accessories and sometimes the end result was negligible, i am very happy with all the mods i've made to the Spyder so far.
Installed F3T Latitude bars and Lamonster cuff with drink holder, plus wired USB cable.
TX, can you email that link to me, I can't get it to open, I want to fwd it to my dealer, there is something about this I don't understand. Thanks. bikerbillwms@yahoo.com
Installed the RLS Cat Delete Pipe and the DynoJet Power Commander Fuel Controller. Can really tell the difference can hit 70 real fast!
replaced cam position sensor on my 17 rt
Checked the vacuum lines on Spydey and all good. Dropped a torx bit into a black hole while undoing a screw that as it turns out didn't need removing - note to self, read the instructions again before working on it. Removed one of the H4 headlights only to find I had left the new globes in my car which my daughter has several hours away. Found a connector underneath one of the switches was not anchored correctly so fixed that. Discovered the dual usb outlet I bought misses out on fitting in the switch by a couple of mms (width). Oh well out with the dremel when I re-visit it at which time I will also upgrade the high beam. Overall a good experience though as I am getting more comfortable working on it.
Today I have assembled the armrests that I bought a few months ago. Since my wife still cannot came with me, I was not in a hurry.
Half an hour of work and that's it. When she test it I will adjust to her feelings.
I let my SPYDER sit in the garage today and will for 1 more week.... today it is 107 and
Sunday 110, Monday 106... and so on until this heat wave passes
Installed race tech shocks front and rear today...the difference is night and day.
Disassembled, cleaned and lubed all three brakes. Other than one a bit squeaky brake, all look like new..
