Thanks for the heads up. I definitely like the switch better than putting the USB docking station on the bars. I want to use that area for the carplay I recently bought from a forum member.

I took a ride today. I went about 40 miles.
I also got in the mail a 12V Pro Receptacle w/polarized leads + slide lock, that goes into the blank hole at the bottom of the trunk. I am going to use it for charging my power pack. I will be installing that this weekend.

A couple weeks ago I installed Ikon shocks (front only) and tires all around on both RT's. Rear tire 215/60R-15 GENERAL ALTIMAX RT45 SL, fronts 175/55R-15 Vredestein Quatrac SL. I purchased the tires from Tirerack and had the tire mounted and balanced at Les Schwab. I dropped them off, my wife picked them up. Prior to mounting everything up, I noticed the rear wheels had the original wheel weights still installed. I gave the LS a call and they told me that there is no way to balance those wheels/tires on their machine, would have been good to know at the get go.
I did some research and purchased a balancing stand and some wheel weights on-line. The rod that comes with it has cones for centering the wheel held in place with a set screw, way too much play caused the wheel to be off center. Fortunately, the axle fit in-between the bearings on the stand after a little grinder action to get the job done.
Oh, we replaced the AGM batteries with Noco LiPo batteries too.
The tires are great, the shocks feel really good. We are very satisfied with both additions. I really appreciate all the feedback on the forum, the difference in handling with the "recommended" tires is night and day from the Kenda's.

A couple of weeks ago, I replaced the headlights with Sealight S2-9005 LEDs. Truly plug and play and a direct fit. I got tired of the yearly replacing of the Ultra Bright Halogens and only $30 more for the pair. Now when on bright, the reflection off the Interstate signs is very impressive. See how long these last!

Checked in on getting the HMC filter I ordered from BajaRons on April 18. They won't have one for at least another week. Local shop that sells CanAm Spyders didn't have one either. Ron orders directly from BRP and they are back ordered there also. I wonder if they have to get them from Rotax????

Added Baldwin Cat Delete Pipe
Things have started heating up in Florida, so I finally bit the bullet & replaced my Cat with a Baldwin Ironworks bypass pipe. Cooled things down considerably and really didn’t make it much louder. I decided to go with the baffle & end-plug and work my way down from there. Most guys just use the baffle minus the end-plug, but I didn’t want it any louder and wanted to maintain the back pressure. It’s perfect just the way it is. I also added a K&N air filter. My magnetic mirror mounts will be here today.
I think I’m done... the money tree has no leaves left! Today is the first day of the Leesburg Bike Fest which is about 30 minutes from my house. Time to just take a ride & enjoy the sunshine.
I threw some stickers at mine :)
Installed the upper and lower KOTT grills, the ST2 Brake module, and the ST2 Brake Flasher module. Then the wife and I rode for about 4 hours, with a dinner break added in.
Got her inspected yesterday morning. Felt nice to finally get out and ride.
Finaly took the time to install the SpeedBleeders I got in the mailbox this winter. I had totally forgotten about them, till I found the package during a clean up in the office. :opps:
The two in front was an easy job, but the rear one made me wish I had an extra joint on my fingers.
I could have made it easier by removing the round black pastic wheel for the parking brake, but got it done eventually.
Did some bleeding while I was at it and only a few airbubbles came out.
These bleeders sure makes it an easy job and is highly recomended. Think I will order a set for my car soon. :2thumbs:
Yesterday, we installed the following farkles :
ww.amazon.com/Marinco-Products-12VRCTT-OEM-Receptacle-Polarized/dp/B00A42OASW/ref=sr_1_4_mod_primary_new?crid=3VQ52Y8YLSLT3&dib= eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.A0jyyyrCDoxAwb3OfOIRFuCfp-MkXR6F6TKa-6Dod3M8h4_7mKxYoaq-giWpSI
This was installed in the trunk at the bottom of the top case, so I can charge the my power pack when I am on the road.
Also, the trunk shock, I bought from Value Accessories.

Yesterday we also took a short ride.

Took a ride up to the store for a Shady Dog. Seen 2 Rykers, one was heavily modified, 3 RT's, and a F3S that was a manual shift. I also seen one at a gas station, and one on the highway. Quite the day for sighting Spyder's.
Took the bike out for the 4th time this season. We got 10 about miles from home when the bike went into “Limp Mode”. We got a VSS Fault message, a check DPS message, and 4 fault codes. Took pictures of the messages and fault codes for the service tech. Limped home. Calling the dealer Monday morning to setup an appointment. Bummer, today was beautiful.
I added an other frakle,to my spdyer.
I added LED lights inside the top case on the back. I put them just under the lip of the cover. I plugged them into the USB port in the top case. They also have a on/off switch. The lights are bright, and lights up the inside of the top case.

Before you waste too much time & money at the Dealer's, get your battery Load Tested (or test it yourself) and don't just believe the 'it tests Good' answer - these Spyders are exceptionally power hungry, and while other vehicles & most load test devices will be OK/show a good result, possibly down to as low as 10.5 volts under cranking load, I've found over hundreds of Spyders that if the voltage EVER drops below 12 volts during load testing, then you are very likely to have a dead or dying battery!
Since about 2020, BRP have been 'cheaping out' on their factory installed & dealer supplied replacement batteries, fitting cheaper, less capable batteries that are not lasting anywhere near as long/working anywhere near as well as the earlier OEM Yuasa batteries those of us with earlier models got. These new batteries are failing 'early' in droves, and the first sign of impending failure is these 'Multiple Codes across a range of systems' incidents, especially VSS & DPS (both power hungry systems! :p ) faults; the second sign is when the codes are followed by the bike suddenly dropping into Limp Mode!!
If you go straight to the dealer, you'll likely find that many dealers aren't checking the obvious/easy things first; instead, they are immediately chasing the numerous codes, all to no avail and all at your expense; it's often only after they've got you on the hook for, or already had you pay out, a significant amount of your hard earned $$ for no real benefit, that they even bother to check & charge or replace the battery, frequently thereby resolving all those issues they could've fixed much earlier simply by fitting a new, fully charged battery!! But to add insult to injury, they generally install the same piece of rubbish battery that's now being supplied by BRP, often even without giving it the necessary '8 hours minimum' of proper charging that every battery should get before installation  And THAT means that you'll almost certainly be back at the dealer's again with 'low-battery caused issues' much sooner than is strictly necessary - usually just after the battery warranty (generally just 6 months) expires!! :cus: :gaah:
So do yourself a favour and test/get that battery tested FIRST! And if it goes below 12 volts AT ALL during that testing, cut your losses and just get a new battery, preferably a good quality brand with at least 350 cca & ideally at least a 21 A/hr over 10 hours capacity!
Just Sayin' - again!
I rode over to BajaRon's and bought a Pedal Box, and Daniel and crew installed and programmed it for me. I already had a Lamonsters Top Cuff, so they mounted it there. What can I say. It's a Great Shop, and everyone is super friendly.
While I was there a fellow from Ohio on a F3s had just rode all the way to BajaRon's. We talked Spyders of course lol. There were a total of 7 spyder riders pull in while I was there. Cool place to just hang out and shoot the bull.
Got done with all the mowing and yard work today (first cut of the year). Wife said let's go for a ride, so I said, 'Sure'. We have a road we like to take when we just want to go for an hour or so. This pic is of Granite Mountain, just on the southern edge of ranch land.
Did some riding this morning trying out the different settings on the pedal box. It's intoxicating to say the least. Sport + setting is totally insane. The warnings I received from BajaRon's crew was warranted. I've settled on the Sport setting level 3, and it's great. Feels like a whole new bike. To me it was totally worth it.
I went for a ride.

Great ryde around Lake Tahoe today before the winter storm this weekend. Checked the oil level when I got home. The 1330 Rotax motor doesn't use a drop of oil!!!!!

Went riding Saturday with some new colors!
Installed Spyderpops A-arm LED's.
