Selling my '16 RTL. $20,00 OBO. Black, 12,136 miles. Near Phoenix AZ
I am the 2nd owner, I bought it with 2,475 miles completely stock. Excellent condition, always been garaged, only seen rain...
I have FOBO as well and have been pretty pleased with them
2 guyes garage in Gilbert. Ask for Kyle. They do good work
My wife and I have Bell Qualifier DLX helmets, so we use the Sena SMH-10. No complaints from me, except that I can hear her telling me to slow down! :joke:
Thank you....I'll check it out.
I put a voltmeter with dual usb on the left to charge my phone. I bought a blank 52mm gauge and had it cut so it's a clean look. On the right I have a compass/clock/altimeter/temp gauge.
I recently started having some issues with my seat (original) not staying up. Is there a way to adjust the shock or do I need to just replace it?
Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the most informative Spyder website around :2thumbs:
I have the BRP armsrests. I like the fact they move up instead of out. Wife seems happy with them (feeling more secure in seat) as well.
As with most things, I didn't attempt installation...
Thanks guys. I wish I would have known this BEFORE I did it :banghead:
Well as far as I can tell there's no damage done (and my hyperflash went away!) so that's a good thing.
Appreciate the...
Can I ask why not have the jumping vehice's engine running? I don't know much about this stuff.
When I had my dead battery my friend came by in his pickup and it was running....and I was able to...
I just had an incident with a dead battery - ironically after a refueling as someone else said.
I had no previous issues, kept it on battery tender (most of the time), no heated gear used. It...
For what it's worth, I jsut put the Vredesteins on my 2016 (fronts). Only have about 600 miles on them so far, but it made a HUGE difference in the ryde and the handling.
Thanks everyone.
I had just filled with gas, and when I went to start the lights and everything just shut off and it wouldn't turn over. Pulled out my trusty Lamonster battery jump starter,...
Got it hooked up to my buddy's pickup. Voltmeter reads over 13 when I try to start but doesn't turn over. Checked connections all good.
Ok this never happened to me before. 2016 rtl. Just filled with gas tried starting, dash lights came on didn't turn over and just shut down. No lights no error code nothing. Ideas?
I use Waze for directions, and I use Rever for tracking my rydes.
Same thing as yesterday, and tomorrow will the same - rode it to work.
Thanks for sharing. If I knew you were going to have one there yesterday I would have called out sick from work and took a ride down LOL
I'm curious to see it in person, although I can't say yet...
Many years ago, I used to play drums with 2 friends that were brothers. I remember one of them saying to the guitarist - "don't smoke while you're playing". We both asked how come, and he took a...
Good deal on a worthwhile addition!
another vote for changing the tires. Mine used to shimmy and shake a bit, but once i replaced the tires it's a much smoother ryde
That's what I did. I read so many threads about tires here before making my decision. It'll make your head spin, but keep in mind that just about anything will be an improvement!
We're looking at maybe 11/23, going up to Prescott I think.
If you're on facebook join the group "Spyder ryders of the southwest", and when it gets finalized it'll be posted there :)
Thanks Peter. I just want people to know that getting rid of the kendas and putting on new tires was arguably the most noticeable upgrade I made. What's more impressive is my OEM tires weren't...
I've gotten a lot of comments ranging from "nice tricycle", to "that looks real comfortable", to "my son thinks that's the coolest thing he ever saw"
I always smile politely and say thanks.
My intent is not to start any type of debate on which types, sizes or PSIs, but to share my experience with new tires:
After reading many, many threads on the Kendas (how crappy they are) and what...
I started having some butt pain and ordered an airhawk. The first time I went out on it felt fantastic, I followed instructions and sat on it while deflating until I sunk in. The 2nd time I went...
Didn't even get a chance - they were delivered saturday. boy that was fast!
Getting them put on thursday....can't wait
