Good. But those are two different things. Sometimes fluid loss ONLY occurs when going down the road.
That probably eliminates the pressure cap. But there still is the thermostat and pump.

Hype ??
I like mine but don't "love" it......and probably never will.
Which I think is about average from all the reports here.
Of course, any given owner might be either side of the "average" a bit.
P.S. JimSter: Have you searched the old threads on here ? It...
Why do you have to "suspect" ?
Didn't you take note of the engine temp gauge ??
Oops. Sorry.
Missed that key word RYKER again.
You are right, of course.
That is perfectly normal. The other things that happened are NOT.
You don't WANT the engine to run any cooler; that is the point where it was designed for.
Keeping the heat off of the rider is...
It is still in the tank.
ALL gas gauges include a "hidden reserve" to try and make up for the "idiot factor".
Sometimes even that doesn't work.
Note: It is not good to run the tank...
Given the experiences of others, you should check the main battery cables at both ends for a good solid clean connection.
Then you should check the battery voltage at the moment that the starter...
Those Spyder owners who ARE using it would find that revelation rather amazing.
I bet that you have no actual evidence to back up that statement.
Go to the motorcycle oil section of your favorite auto parts store.
Pick a "brand name" synthetic MOTORCYCLE oil with a viscosity near to what your book recommends.
Rotella T6 is good too and has...
You got the right answers.
Just one slight addition: The mirror shell mounts have some flex to them.
It works best for me to hold onto the shell with your fingers while pushing with your thumbs.
If you are going to do that, you should at least use a product that actually is a GOOD cleaner......and is not overpriced.
Berrymans B12 and Gumout are the best.
A really LOT of things could have...
When you click on "create new thread", it brings up a screen with a small box near the top where you MUST put a title.
Then there is the large box below that where the bulk of your message goes.
...
Which would delay shipment of new parts even more.
AND.....in a short time, scammers would get the information necessary to make changes out in the field......just like they have done with EVERY...
Gotta ask the obvious:
Have you checked the oil level ??
Actually that is not really true.
All you are obligated to report is what you KNOW, which is that the number shown on the ODO is not the actual total mileage.
And if you don't know that, you have...
Too bad.
ALL vehicles work that way.
You can either make yourself sick about it........or just move on.
Your thought is wrong.
Some repairs, like replacement of the odometer mechanism, will effectively reset it to 0......and there is no easy mechanism provided to "update" it to the old number.
What...
Without knowing the exact CAUSE of your discomfort, suggesting ways to alleviate it would be rather pointless.
OTC anti-inflammatorys and proper hand/wrist positioning can help a lot.
But after...
Under any circumstance where your hand is forcefully removed from the hand grip.
Which could make a bad situation MUCH worse.
AND.....there is a short learning curve where you need to train...
IF.....the other basics have been checked out.....like fans running at the right speed AND DIRECTION, air intake not blocked (radiator fins clean) and pressure cap good, then.....you have posted this...
Well then YOU probably shouldn't do it, and others who feel the same too.
I rode on 2 wheels for close to 40 years using something similar with no problems.
But that is not to say that it can't...
So we hear a new stupid thing coming from Spyder dealers every day it seems.
There is no good reason NOT to connect it and do a quick code scan.
Are there any other dealers nearby ??
You are right about that.
And even if it is 100% correct, the exception just goes to prove the rule.
One single case does not prove what the rules ARE, nor does it necessarily provide sufficient...
I think there are better products out there now.
I try to leave mine "open end up" to air out after each ride.
Then I give it a spray of something like Febreeze Fabric once a week or so.
Then...
I know it's Oregon and all but..........
I would like to see a reference in a trusted media source for both of those stories that he is relating.
This.
Insist that you get what you paid for.....ALL of it.
P.S. If you lose the last/only key you have, it will cost you something like $600.
Start with the main ground cable from the battery to the frame.
Then get a voltmeter and watch the charging voltage for a bit.
Might also be that the antenna or it's mount has come loose.
...
I think that is an urban myth.
Even if it is not, driving with a medical condition that is known to make you go unconscious at random times is not quite the same thing.
And I think continuing to...
OK, this has gone far enough.
How exactly is it that a person with narcolepsy is still driving or riding a motorcycle ?
Forget the danger to you, how about the danger to the others on the road...
