:2thumbs:    :2thumbs:
Just saw this thread........Thoughts and prayers !!!
Sell it
Glad to hear Sierra Cycles took good care of you. It's worth a trip down there in my opinion. Can't imagine what Ride Now would have charged you. :gaah:
That would have been ataDude.......yrs ago :2thumbs:
No problem, Jack up the rear wheel till tension is off the lower shock bolt, remove the bolt, raise the Jack till the belt is loose enough to remove from front sprocket. Retourqe the front sprocket...
You better find a new tech ! I changed my DPS unit myself several months ago, there is no fluid supplied to that unit. Changing the unit itself is not that hard.
I'll start out by saying I've had a brake failure warning for the last several weeks, so yesterday was a good day to install new brake pads on the rear and bleed my brakes, at least it started out...
If you will look at the previous post ... it was dated Feb of 2010...... I believe the RT's weren't released at that time...... it'd be better to start a new thread
Hope to see you there
So........what's the correct size for the ABS system on the GS and ST ?
Mine are in the mail as we speak......hope their the right ones.....
You can't pull the bolt out till you lower the Jack and take the tension off the bolt.......then it will slide out
I've heard several that used Uship.
:welcome: Still have my '08 GS, and still using Amsoil, just under 43,000 miles, 89 grade gas, and the Kumho tires.
Enjoy the ride :doorag:
I've had the Hindle on my '08 GS, since day one
The 7/8 in are the ones that will work. You will have to remove the plastic around the nose section and cut tie wraps holding the clutch hose and wiring.
I still have my '08 GS, first thing I did was put on risers. The ones I bought were the 4 " ones off eBay. They were for dirt bikes. Do a search on eBay for 4 " dog bone risers. I think I spent all...
Going to try and make this one for sure
:bowdown::clap:
Congrats !!!!.....wishing you all the best !!!!
When my DPS unit failed on my '08 GS, I got codes P0551 and P0552.
I hope you changed three bearings
Glad your back on the road to recovery, Lamont. You and Joan have been in our prayers . So here's hoping for the best for you.
Larry
:congrats:
I would definitely ride it to see if you still have the problem, and if so, get another opinion from a different dealer. Good luck.
I have the '08 GS, so have to snug mine real tight
Buy a 36mm box end / open end wrench and cut in half, problem solved :ohyea:
They are related to your trunk removal. You unpulled the sensor on the right side of the trunk. Should return to normal after reinstalled.
Code P228 is not a correct code
