Another option is the foam grip covers that most of our vendors sell.
I love mine.
I also did not use the lock nuts on my fobo's.
I gave up on that dealer a week after the purchase. I haven't needed one since anyhow.
I still think that both your and my dealership at least had the same training, meaning = NONE, we just sell them then wipe our hands of you.
Your post # 13 was almost my experience to a T.
Can-Am...
Sounds like we had the same dealer.
I do not trust the dealer that I purchased mine from and will never step foot back into their door. Good luck, they will tell you anything.
All that I did was install them and the set it up for the reverse trike with air bag.
The only glitch that I had was one sensor did not connect until I rolled the spyder out of the garage and it...
You'll get all kinds of replies on this. It's one of those things that people just like to disagree about. :roflblack:
I'm the opposite of the others, I run the higher octane just because most...
The 2020's had a brake light switch recall. Did you get this done?
If you got it used and do not know then you might want to get your dealer to run the vin to see if it was ever done.
See post #7, Resolved 3 years ago but thanks.
Also check out post #10.
Have you checked the Y connector for power out with a voltage tester/multimeter? Both sides?
You could have a bad connector. Those wires are very small and prone to being pulled apart or broken...
And did this stop the wobble?
I really think that the OP's thread was intended for him to find some fobo's.
Others need to start a thread in the correct forums. JMHO
Like already mentioned, check the bearings, they can cause tire wear also and a vibration when going around a curve.
Do this before getting an alignment.
Not the same.
I have the Noco NLP20 in mine and love it. It's been over a year with no problem at all.
Make sure that you have a maintainer for the lithium battery also if you go this route. Noco make an...
There is no tupperware to be removed on the 2020+ models. I did mine without removing anything.
Why not just use the 2 pack of two? I have one on each of the three wheels and one on the shock. There's a place in the app to set it up for that.
I searched on WalMart.com for the best price that...
The spring was put on a newer Spyder, 2020 and above.
I doubt that it will work on the older spyders as I think that they had a longer cylinder/strut.
I purchased two, two packs. Works great.
Just so that you know, that switch may or may not fit correctly. If it does not, then take the blank and cut it out so the switch will fit snugly into it, install the blank then install the switch...
If you have a decent body shop nearby, go ask them if they can weld it for you.
Thats how they repair the plastic bumpers on cars and trucks.
This fiasco is very similar to the sprocket replacement and brake light switch recalls.
It takes forever to get something done since covid.....maybe before also :dontknow: I didn't own one till...
I always take a folded-up paper towel and place it under the nozzle when I fuel up just in case of a burp/overfill.
That wifi connection bit only applies to the 2024 models.
Check the BBB for some info on Revolos.
Hopefully you won't need either but myself I went with the Best from BRP.
Not sure what your dealer quoted you but it can be purchased for around $700....
Make sure that they check the linkage for the rear shock. There have been a lot of them left unattached.
I wouldn't, but that's just me.
You could use a 2x4 placed under both ears of the bracket though. Lift from the bracket and not the shock bolt.
I lift from the frame.
Congrats! :2thumbs:
Did you have your foot on the brake pedal?
Honestly, if the OP does not come back or log back in after a certain amount of time, I think maybe it should be deleted. Imotorsports has been pretty good to the members here. IMHO
