MTV R&B Springs and a sway bar will fix your problem...
...
I finally got around to this task. I removed my Fox shocks from my 2014 RTS and installed the H&R springs on my Fox shocks. The top mounting plate is a perfect fit. The bottom of the springs mounts...
This is a GREAT buy with all those options & 18000 miles for $16,000...This should sell fast...larryd
I can't help with your fault codes...But I do remember that a guy named Ken that ran a different Spyder Forum offered a kit that seperated the front and rear brakes...That was way back in the 08 & 09...
Way Back in my automotive career days, whenever I replaced auto thermostats, I ALWAYS drilled a 1/8" hole in the replacement thermostat...
That 1/8" hole prevented the engine block from getting...
Now we need a ride report on how the H&R Springs perform??? Thank You, larryd
I think MartinTheVlogger also has a hand brake option for most Spyders...And he's a sponsor here...larryd
I would not trust reattaching the front link rod to the epoxyed in broken casting part...I'd hope you could fabricate a different attaching bracket for the front link rod??? Time for a little...
This may be of some help with your problem... BRP produced some 1330 engines with porous castings. Several of the engines were completely replaced, BUT, BRP also had some type of "Super Epoxy" that...
I also have these on our 2014 RTS...Very Pleased...larryd
Sound to me like you might be a good candidate for Martins H & R shock spring upgrade to your stock shocks - Less expensive than a set of Elka's and an easy-to-do fix??? PMK gave them a good review...
I want to make sure I'm following correctly - The only difference between your two machines is: the one has Elka shocks, and you see improved handling; and the other has Ron's adjustors on stock...
I've been a customer for many years...THIS IS TRULY SAD...Hopefully someone steps up with a matching product??? larryd
Have you found places to buy dry ice (like truck stops & convience stores) while traveling??? I don't think there's a place to purchase it near me??? larryd
Any idea if the H&R springs will fit or can be adapted to the BRP Fox Shox's??? larryd
This was a common mod many years ago...I also did it to my 08 GS...There should be some old posts about what spring we were using...larryd
This Great Lake Bike Tour SOUNDS INTERESTING??? Is this one Lake Huron ONLY???
The GS & RS series bikes were pretty much bullet proof...Should make you years of trouble free riding...larryd
PMK, Did you get to ride this Spyder with the H&R upgrade yet??? Thanks, larryd
PMK, Yes I currently have the BRP Fox shocks on the front of my 2014 RTS... As I stated earlier,R I'm out of spring preload adjustment to achieve my desired ride height...
I have my stock 2014 RTS...
My concern with the H & R springs is "the one size & setting fits ALL size riders and passengers"...Martin recommends removing the BAJARON adjustors and going back to the non adjustable set up??? ...
These will be used on my 2014 RTS...I now have the BRP Fox shocks on...I'm out of ride height adjustment on my Foxes...I put the Fox shocks on after my Elka's were again leaking oil after the third...
Are the shocks I have listed below "Sachs" Shocks??? Are you 100% sure???
I'm thinking about doing the H&R upgrade from Martin the Viogger, AND his H&R will ONLY work with Sachs Shocks...
...
The rocker part of those switches just pops off with light pressure...I think they even made a tool specifically for that task...Replacing just the rocker part would not facilitate the removal of the...
Mikey, I have used TK'S (Travis) @ TKSSHOCKS.COM 814-397-0347 for many of my shock needs on snowmobiles/atv and he also serviced my Spyder Elka's... Gives great personal service... Might be worth a...
No, not me direct...My dealer has sold salvage units to them and has gotten me a few items over the year...larryd

BakerAirWing used to make a very nice bolt on aftermarket air ride kit for the Spyder RT without factory air ride...If your air bag is good this was a very easy to install option and you don't need...
Since the intoduction of the 1330 engines back in 2014 there have been several reports of "POROUS" castings from the engine manufacture that leaked oil and required replacement...If fact, BPR wanted...
While you're in there that close to the air bag I would definitely do the rock guard to the bottom of the air bag... It's easy and inexpensive... larryd
