What mounts are available and reliable that you are using. Oh by the way, I can no longer get insurance on my phones. I've lost or it's been destroyed 3 phones in the last year and the company canceled my phone insurance.

My wife won't let me buy anymore phones!
for that very reason. I'll FB you a pic of what I use now and it has never failed...

I agree with the techmount grip. I had the x-grip but always was concerned with my phone falling out and used a tether strap as additional protection. I purchased a Techmount grip when I saw it a couple of years ago and I no longer need a tether strap. The phone is nice and secure and it's not going anywhere.

Another vote for Techmount 4-Techgripper, used it for 3.5 months without a problem. I finally installed a GPS. But I am going to install a cup holder and put this on it for my phone. I do have an Otterbox case, one of the thinnest on my Galaxy S7 Edge. It never even slipped a bit off the techgripper once.

Get the specific RAM cradle for your phone.
I got one for my iPhone 6+ and it's solid. NO WAY is it coming out.

I just use a rubber band around the x-grip and the phone/radar det. etc, never had an issue, of course, I avoid potholes too.
