F3 Top Case Speakers
I just helped install a Top Case on a 2016 F3-LTD.
The owner has opted to not put an amp in as of yet.
I can't seem to get the speakers working though I have read that it is possible without the amp.
Does anyone have a tip on getting them to work?
There is an update to the radio and it has been installed...
Thanks for any help on this matter!

To get the speakers and the back light to work on the top case, you need the replacement harness, (plugs in under the right side under the seat) to the back area to connect to the tail lights. There is a jumper connector harness between the amp and the radio. The speakers are not powered.

I did replace the stock harness with the new harness that came with the top case.
The back light, cargo light & USB plug work but no sound from the speakers.
Not quite sure what you mean by "There is a jumper connector harness between the amp and the radio".
There is one extra plug that isn't being used on the new harness but my thinking is that is the plug for the extra amp...

The speakers will not work without the amp. The amp comes with a harness to plug in to the radio.

amp
The amp and the jumper cable are sold separately. The jumper plugs into the radio and amp and the rear speakers then plug into the amp
as I understand it.
I purchased the top case too, but have yet to unleash the money for the amp and the jumper.
