What works for Brightening/Shining Chrome Wheels?
I have a 2017 F3 Limited - I noticed the Chrome on the wheels seems to have lost some of its luster. Is there anything I can do to restore the shine back to wheels? I used Merlins Blood in the past to clean them - would that also help to brighten them?
Thanks in advance.

I use Autosol Metal Polish. Ingredients. 1 part metal polish, 2 parts elbow grease.

Alumiumfoil works like a charm for chrome, and stainless
the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it........

Some chrome cleaner/polish and elbow grease. Spray on or wipe on cleaners aren't going to restore that like new chrome shine you are looking for. It's still there, but you're going to have to rub a bit to find it. Chrome is like paint. There are some great cleaners and protectants out there, but sooner or later a good old fashioned rub down is going to be needed.

I will put in a plug for Nevr-Dull, currently made by Eagle 1. It's a cotton wadding soaked with a petroleum solvent. Yes, it takes a lot of elbow grease to work, but boy does it work. Take a wad of Nevr-Dull and rub (usually not very hard) until the surface is smooth and has a black oily layer. Wait for the oil to dry to white, then buff it off with a soft cloth. Best thing I know of for chrome or polished metal surfaces. It will even make raw aluminum shine like polished stainless.
That said, make sure you DO NOT use it on metals or wheels that are painted or clear-coated. It will strip off the coating in short order with no good way to fix it.

Never dull is great stuff. If you can't find it try Turtle Wax Chrome polish.

Chrome Wheels
....Well it depends on how much you want to do. I have been cleaning my Chrome wheels with dawn dish soap for years. If you only clean the wheels once or twice a year then you can try 'Orange Hand Cleaner'. Or maybe get some 'Auto Chrome Wheel' cleaner at your local NAPA auto store. It still will be a labor of love and Time. Elbow and hand effort is always the best way. ......

I found the best way to clean my front rims was take them off and get them up off the ground where your not all bent over, think I used a 35 gal drum with a towel for protection, and washed and waxed till they shined like a mirror!! and you can check your brake pads and grease the swing arms while your there!! If you have grease fittings, some of us still ride old iron!!!

I use Never Dull on my chrome, stainless, etc. to clean and follow up with Turtle Wax Ceramic spray wax to help the cleaning last longer.
F3 rims cleanup easier and stay cleaner longer. Same for my HD chrome which is a real PITA.
