Chrome or Blacked-out - am I the only one who likes Chrome??

Personally, I prefer the chrome. From what I gathered chrome plating is not environmentally friendly and many of our favorite things are moving away from that.

Anything but black. Chrome since 1970’s. My 2014 RT came with brushed aluminum wheels, it is easier to take of. Cars are the same, I just bought a new to me car and chrome NOT black wheels were on the top five requirements.

There can be a fine balance particularly Like how “Rat Rods” with true flat black & mirror polish chrome reflecting that black, in just right places & proportions. (Saw car show today by the way). Also https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...auto-body-tape

I like chrome and I like blacked out. I think both can look good when done properly. My GMC Sierra Denali has lots of chrome. Spyder is blacked out. If the there would have been a glossy black and chrome 2024 RTL at the dealer, I probably would have gotten that.
