Transmission Filter Change
Coming up on the 28k replacement interval for the trans filter. Was wondering what the final word on the BUDS air purge. Is it actually needed or not. Last I had heard, a few ryders had changed theirs and did not have to purge using BUDS. Anybody got the last word on this? Doing the oil change and oil filter at the same time.

tx filter change
Did mine last year. No BUDS issues. Keep a lot of rags handy. There is a lot of oil trapped in the filter. Also check torque specs and tightening sequence.
