If anyone is interested, Lamonster now carries the strut for the trunk on the 2020+ models.

A small rubber door stop between the front of lid to seat back rest works great and for $2.98 a pair. On windy days, the oem strut does not always work. This works all the time. Adapt and improvise- military way of addressing situation.

If anyone is interested SlingMods has a heavier trunk strut back in stock ($40) along with install video..

Just installed the new heavy duty trunk strut from slingmods on my 2021 S2S with trunk rack. Works great!
2021 RTL S2S, BRP arm rests, smart mount backrest, Pedal Commander, F3 position B handlebars, adj side vents.
