GOOD RATES
Prices are all over the place of this.............I have great coverage and pay $240 per 12 mos. with Dairyland , someone else may pay triple that or more..........Ask Bob D. He will tell you there are sooooooo many variables it can give you a headache...........The best advice is call around and ask for quotes based on your personal facts.....Dairyland , Markel, Foremost, others will chime in.........Mike

The issue is finding the insurance companies that properly rate the spyders as not all of them do and some are very expensive.
Check out Utica National Insurance and find a local representive of theirs: http://www.uticanational.com/Insurance/index.aspx

I also have a 2014RTS-SE6 and I have Geico and I pay $489.00 twelve month premium, and I have excellent coverage, and other insurance company's that I have checked with can not match the Limits/ and or Deductibles that I have.
Even the Geico insurance agents that I talk to say" that I have excellent coverage on 2014RTS-SE6 Spyder.
I have been with Geico for 4 years, excellent driving record, they are offer MSF, Dual Policy, Mature Rider, Anti-Theft Device, Transfer or Renewal Discounts. I even have Tow +Labor costs. Also, I you live-in the North East states, they do offer Winter Storage Rates from Oct. 1, to April 1, so you can get a kick back from Geico.
I am in my early 50's the spyder is kept outside during the riding months( April to Oct.) 4 years of motorcycle driving experience.

Just renewed yesterday with AAA, 444.00 for 12 months, 250.00 deductibles, 3000.00 extra farkle coverage. 622 trailer covered for replacement cost. My policy states that it is a specialty vehicle/motor cycle. As stated in another post call around, progressive was over 800.00 with higher deductibles. And a few companies charge more for us up here in Michigan due to the no-fault and unlimited lifetime medical coverage
2012 RTS SE5, GT stripes, belt guard, hmt brake light, lower vent heat deflector, driver foot boards, Corbin seat, RH vent covers

It took me 4 phone calls to get under $500.for great coverage. I believe in upping the limits of coverage. Insurance companies all have different rate charges on your location, credit score and age. So if I give you my company name you might not hit their target person and charge you more. $ 439. 00 I got it at Cieco who I never would of called if not for this forum. Was paying over 900.00 were i get my cars. Dairyland quated me 1,400. So shop till you get a good price.

Prices all over the place. Ratings depend on your personal driving record. Two people on the same block, with the same company could end up with completely different rates.
That said: A State Farm customer since 1965. They have my home, my car, and both . I am not a bad driver, but have had three accidents with claims on my car, and one with my . My rates did not go up with any claims.
2011 Spyder: $42.00 month/$504 per year.
2014 Spyder: $47.00 month/$564 per year.
AK is famous for poor drivers and people that don't know what insurance is.

I got it from the Lizard for $520 for the year. Live in the Cleveland area in Ohio. I am 64. Excellent credit rating. The first quote I got from Nationwide was $1778. Progresive was $1440. I hate it but you got to have it.

Well, in some places it has almost nothing to do with your driving record. They are using credit scores now to determine your policy costs, which it total BS, but they can get away with it b/c or reps don't really represent us anymore. Two people can live on the same block and have all the same criteria, age, sex, driving record, but one have a great credit score and the other one has a much lower credit score and the price difference would be great. It's all a scam to me.
