Who has a Garmin Zumo XT & is using a Lock - what lock? Thoughts?
Ok, who out there is running the Garmin Zumo XT on their bike and who of you have a GPS locking device on it?
If you have a GPS locking device what are you using and what has your experience been or what is your impression of the locking device?
thanks

Reason: 1 thread asking the same thing is enough ;-)
I don't use a lock ,I remove it anytime I'm not with the Spyder.

so you are not worried about it coming unclipped if you hit a bump? The latching device is sort on cheap compared to the Zumo 590 &595
Campermac, the latching device is rock solid on the XT, as long as you have clipped it in properly. I hit the mother of all potholes on my ‘21 RT, enough to dislodge the dash display into the bodywork and pop some of the side body mounting tabs. The XT remained in place. I have hit many potholes since. There is no issue with the XT coming unclipped. I, also, simply pop the XT in the glovebox when I leave the Spyder. Takes 5 seconds.

Touratech here. Built like a brick poop house. Also has rubber covered clamping arms to help reduce vibration. I now leave the GPS attached overnight when traveling. Not gonna get the GPS without damaging it. Costly yes, but you get what you pay for..

I opted to go with the Touratech device. It looks to be a really beefy device, plus I found a couple cool things to use with the mount and GPS on Etsy. The second item is a cover to cover the GPS mount pins when not in use and it locks into the Touratech mount. Thanks for all the responses and feed back.
