There is one a power port on the right side of my 2024 RT S2S, behind one of the panels.
But despite buying the "Y" adapter from Lamonster and following their video directions, I have been unable to get it to power my GPS.

That's why mine is being powered by the USB port in the glove box.

Strange ... I have both my Garmin Zumo XT2 and amber aux lights connected to this accessory outlet. No issues.

Have you checked the Y connector for power out with a voltage tester/multimeter? Both sides?

You could have a bad connector. Those wires are very small and prone to being pulled apart or broken easily.

Yes, I need to do some more diagnostics work on it.

Because during my ride today, the GPS decided that it didn't like receiving power from the USB port in the glove box either!

Much less movement, albeit not the vault like lock of the Touratech.

Thanks for the heads-up on this.
I purchased the Xumo XT2, the MotoPumps lock, as well as this key lock, and I went with the center mount option.

I installed an XT2 on our '24' S2S to use until/if the ACP issue is resolved. I used the center mount from Slingmods. The only downside is that it kind of blocks your view of the front storage compartment. As Dobieone mentioned, the connector is the same as on '20'-'23'. I'm a little disappointed that BRP doesn't at least have a basic nav app built into the bike like most other manufactures flagship bikes have.

But they do! Your Operators Guide clearly says you have Apple Carplay, which includes navigation!

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/108415

When you connect your iPhone to CarPlay, you can get turn-by-turn directions, make calls, send and receive messages, listen to music and more.
Of course Carplay doesn't actually exist on the 2024 S2S, despite the documentation.

The big issue I have is seeing the phone screen with the glare from sunlight. The boss is suggesting a Zumo, but it's a fair chunk of money, so I have a few questions.

Will using a Zumo eliminate the glare issue?
I've been using a Zumo for years, I have never had a glare issue.

Can I use Rever with the Zumo for turn-by-turn directions?
Why? The Zumo will give you turn by turn directions.

If there is a specific destination punched into the Zumo, and we go off route, will it guide me from wherever I am to that destination, or will it try to direct me back to where I left the original route first?
It will try to direct you back to your original route, once you are past the option to do that, the Zumo recalculates from your current location.

Is the screen clearer than a phone screen?
Clearer? It's a very good screen, shouldn't be an issue.

How does it handle not having cell service?
It doesn't use cell towers, it is satellite communication.

    Any wiring or installation issues?
Nope, all it takes is a 12v connection. Lamonster sells a wiring harness that is as plug and play as you can get.

    Does it work with gloves?
    Yep, no issues with gloves.

    Integrate with the Cardo systems?
    Yes, it works great.

    Connect to Spotify?
See previous answer regarding satellite. There is no way for it to receive spotify.

SO I'm wondering if it actually does this, do I need my phone at all except for calls....

    Anyway, thanks for your patience....

    Mike
I use my phone for streaming audio (Sirius/XM, Spotfiy, Amazon Music, etc) to the bike (or to my Cardo Edge). I keep my phone in a holder on the handlebars.

I am working on installing a secondary USB power port specifically for my GPS. I ran across a problem powering my GPS on my Victory. I had to install a 5V 3A converter. A standard USB port won't supply high enough amperage for my Garmin to stay operating. So what happens if it runs long enough, it operates off its battery, then it may stay on while the bike is on.
