Hi yall I’m a Florida redneck biker who is working on a newly purchased Ryker with a brake light remaining on issue, any previous resolves for this would be welcome, it seems maybe the factory spring may not be short enough to do its job

Hi Nobody, Welcome to the Forum.

You probably won't get much of a response in this section, as few regularly come in, and SpyderBOT does say:

Do NOT post support questions here, please post them in the appropriate forum once your account is approved.
in the post immediately above yours.

But now your username has turned Blue, signifying that all your joining processing is complete & all approved, you can post out in the more frequented areas of the Forum, just open the appropriate Ryker section, I'd think Ryker Shop Talk would be best, before starting any new thread with a title that briefly asks your question - altho there's already a fair bit of discussion about this on the Forum, so a little searching and reading may well provide you the solution you're after & all the necessary info to get it sorted. IIRRC, the most commonly used fixes are a good clean of the micro-switch & actuator; or for those few where that doesn't work &/or the pedal cover has been replaced with a larger/heavier cover, fitting an additional or heavier spring! You'll probably even be able to find an Amazon or eBay part number for the right spring to fit!

Looking forward to seeing you out there & posting soon!
