Dan glad you're ok Bro. spyder can be replaced.

I went down on my two wheeler on June 7th, was in the hospital for 2 weeks just got home this past Friday. Now comes the hard part trying to recover and get my strength back very hard when you live alone as I am in a wheelchair for a few weeks more. Riding season is over for me.

Whoa!! Never good when hunks of concrete start flying around....as already said, the outcome could have been much worse. Glad you're OK!

    Yeah, it does look crooked.

I wouldn't be putting a foot's worth of any extra mileage on that bike before you get it looked over Real close... You've got something bent; what's bent has been fatigued and get let go on a moment's notice! Please be careful; I need you around for lively discussions about speeding tickets!

Just wanted to chime in and say that I am so glad you were able to handle the situation and stay safe. I had a similar experience with the heat. Rode all day Saturday with another couple, about 5-6 hours into it, I was not holding up well. Started getting sick, made several stops to wet my hair, etc. Unfortunately, the couple with us had no riding experience so I could not pass over the Spyder to one of them. Made it home fine, but I also experienced the chills and sweats all at the same time. Lucky for me,no rode cones Even today, I am not 100%, so please pay attention to your health, it will not take much to put you back into a bad heat situation again. You need time to recover.

I'm really glad you were on three wheels. I don't think a two wheeler would have stayed up after hitting concrete. It's bad enough to be hit by something, it would have been much worse to go down because of it.

So sorry for what happened, I hope it all works out ok. Did the truck ever stop or even realize what it did to you?

    Default close call!

It's good to hear that you had something left in the "good luck well". I hope you and Len only find minor damage to your ride.

Glad your Ok Bro, please be careful, that fatigue in the heat happens so unsuspecting. Hope Cowtown gets her fixed up right, or maybe its a good reason to trade in and get a new one

Wow, me thinks its a good thing you stopped. Does Len get a premium on his day off? On a serious note, what other dealer would do this on their day off....

Sorry to hear the frame is bent but from your earlier bike description, I thought it might be. Good luck on choosing your new spyder. Please be sure to post pics. Dale

Sorry to hear that it has to come to this... Having gone though a frame replacement; I don't suggest it to the faint of heart!
Again; you're in good shape and we can argue about speeding tickets when you get back home...
And we're gonna need pictures of your new pride and joy soon!
