Well no need to question whether my bumpskid purchase was necessary. Sunday I ran over some cloaked roadkill ( I say cloaked because someone with my obviously heightened driving skill would never hit something laying in the road;)) anyway, it was 5 am and dark, this road kill just jumped up and tried to bite my front end. Luckily my bumpskid interceded no harm just messy stuff to clean off the bike underneath, really yucky. Thanks spyderpops you saved me tons.

you are alright. The skid does a good job of sliding stuff under and keeping it from getting snagged causing things worse than the messiness...besides it looks good...!!

yeah it worked just had to pull some that got wedged between heat shield. Of course my image requires that i stick to the story that it was camouflaged and not due to my inattentiveness or speed. Luckily my copilot was asleep at the time (my wife).

Your co-pilot was asleep?? How do you sleep on the back of the bike without falling off??

My wife sleeps all the time. As soon as I feel the helmet kiss I know she is asleep. I have fallen asleep when she drives but always jerk awake because I feel like I'm about to fall off. So go figure.:yikes:

My wife does it all the time. I know she is asleep when her helmet hits my back and she is pushing me forward. We have armrests to keep her from going off the sides. She also did it on the BMW K1200 LT we previously had.

i had a pigeon once commit suicide by flying into my grill on the car. he was wedged in there so bad i had to behead him to get him out. i hate when that happens

Before we were a 2 Spyder family, Bruisersbaby used to fall asleep behind me.
