That injury is going to put him out for quite a while if it's the webbing. I tore the webbing while in the Air Force and some of the skin died. I didn't think it was a big deal until the doctors started to freak a little...after the dead skin was cut away there was such a large gap the skin wouldn't stretch enough to sew them together. The stitches would tear through the skin and so more skin had to be trimmed. They finally got it and immobilized my thumb and finger...took for ever to heal.

This is the new generation of Evil Knievel. No disrespect to the late one. He was a great legend. But Robbie is an extraordinary athlete himself. That is an extreme, "Xtreme Biker".:D  :2thumbs:

May have been referring to Robbie Maddison, the kid who is doing the stunt on the video. :dontknow: Either one is so much more talented, athletic and daring than I am.

It's just a simple matter of math, geometry, speed, weight, angle, wind, trajectory and a touch of crazy.

Sorta makes me embarrassed to admit that I'm still trying to build my courage to ride a two-wheeler up the curved ramp that fits to the back of the pickup truck! And as long as I'm confessing my "wimp-iness" I had nightmares each time I had to ride across the fallen log "bridge" at the local off-road course that spans a 5 foot deep ditch. That guy is pretty amazing....even more so when he talks about working up his courage to do the stunt.

Don't be embarrassed. Back about 35 years ago, I always used to ride up the plank into the back of my truck. One day the front wheel slipped off at the top, I hit the tailgate, and you can imagine the rest. Since then I push it up the ramps. Guess I'm not the "trials" type. As to riding off the top of a building, I used to skydive, but that nut was missing a parachute. Takes real guts!

Hey Scotty,
I don't think it was guts, it was lack of brains! He has a death wish.

Don't think this guy's elevator goes all the way to the top floor - I guess he thought he'd get there by motorcycle. The guy is crazy. :yikes:
