Garmin 396 GPS Undocumented Feature
I just returned from the Deadwood 3WR in South Dakota. 1200 miles each way to and from the rally. I believe the GPS updated its programming during the ryde. Anyway, my Garmin GPS suddenly exhibited an undocumented feature on the way home. It routed me to and thru every rain storm within any reasonable distance from my selected route home. Needless to say I got repeatedly soaked. This routing action is new to me. How do I turn off this Rain Routing feature??

LOL. Even my cheap 50LM has this un-announced feature. As near as I can tell it has a link up with NOAA!! If only the other features worked as well.
