• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    catalytic converter replacement and loudness??

My RS was an easy fix with the Hindle pipe. Sounded awsome after the change.

If only the RS with a stock pipe sounded this good!

    catalytic converter replacement and loudness??

With the longer muffler on the RT vs the F3 the RT sounds so good and not loud at all with the cat removed.

    catalytic converter replacement and loudness??

A friend I ride with pulled the cat off his 2010 RT and had little increase in volume. He just bought a 15 RT and pulled that cat as well. It is slightly louder but as was pointed out before if you were not next to one with the cat you would never know. I think it sounds really nice! My wife...

any recommendations for rear rack for the F3's ?

I don't know of anything but was just thinking what a great idea if someone like LaMonster developed one that could pop in place of the pasenger seat, urban rack etc.

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

I suggest you go back and re-read my comments with respect to your "opinion". No where on any of my posts did I cast any aspersions to your not liking the seating position after 25 miles. I did say and I stand by stating that it was misleading and unfair to say that the F3 had little (or no)...

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

You are right in as much as it comes down to what works best for each individual. I first posted a response to what I took as a negative evaluation of the F3 based on a 25 mile ride. This was on a new machine which by your own statement was not set up properly or broken in. The evaluation...

    Adding Floorboards

If you are using the BRP floorboards they install in place of the foot pegs, and use the foot peg mounts regardless of the position #.

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

I'm not trying o start an argument and I do understand the sport bike riding position on motorcycles. The harder you lean into a corner the more you are pushed into the bike by the natural dynamic forces. Since the spyder doesn't lean I always felt like I was fighting the natural tendency to...

F3 Fan Running Way Too Much

My fan rarely comes on even on pretty warm days. On really hot days in stop and go traffic it will come on and run for a while.

Installed the stright shot pipe by Akrapovic

Did the cat delete pipe on mine and it sounds great. Kind of wish the pipe was a bit longer to move the sound a bit further back but overall very nice.

Is the F3 a sales success?

I think it depends on where you live and also the dealer. My dealership sold every F3 that they could get their hands on.

Taking battery out, and leaving the parking brake off

i have always used a battery tender. On my 2010 RS the battery still tested good after 5 years. The dealer where I bought mine puts battery tender pig tails on every spyder they sell.

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

When I bought my 2010 RS I was initially very disapointed in the handling as it was not much fun "chasiing" corners. It came with crappy shocks and there was not much information on how to keep it from wallowing around anytime you tried to push it into a corner. After spending thousands on...

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

Have to admit to some confusion. How stating "try them all and make up your own mind" is trying to "ram it down our throats"? I don't care what anybody rides but from what I have seen a lot of folks have moved from the RS line to the F3 and have been very happy. I have not seen anyone as yet...

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

I wouldn't give up on the F3 just yet. Most of the people who are commenting in a negative fashion really don't have enough experience on it to be credible. I have found the F3 to be exceptionally confortable especially compared to the RS style riding position. Try them all and make up your...

    Bad Key

My 2015 F3 gave me the bad key error message about 6 weeks ago and after about 10 minutes re-set and got it started. No problems for next couple of weeks then it did it again when I went out to start it. It re-set and the dealer said BRP recomended re-flashing the system. No problems till...

New F3 Owner waiting for ISCI handbrake

No I don't see the floor boards being a problem. The mount for the slave cylinder mounts the same and the clevis attaches to the front of the stock brake rod so shouldnt interfere from what I could see from the instructions that they e-mailed me. Check the bottom of page 5, it shows that all...
