• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For newbies.. How to find the frame stamped VIN on your "new" 1330cc Spyder

Deanna, Finding a record of the VIN on the swing arm and documents is easy, and not the point. To retitle a Spyder in California, and some other states, the DMV representative is REQUIRED to verify that the VIN stamped on the frame matches the one shown on the seller's title. They must fill out...

Hub hole size on rear wheels?

I actually have one of these, but didn't think it would accomodate that large and heavy of a wheel. Have you actually used it for your rear wheel? If it fits safely, I'd definitely give it a try.

For newbies.. How to find the frame stamped VIN on your "new" 1330cc Spyder

So you just bought your new (to you) dream Spyder and need to title it in California, or another state that requires verification of both the VIN number stamped into the frame AND the swing arm VIN label, or possibly just the frame VIN to be verified, along with the engine ID. I was finally...

Hub hole size on rear wheels?

Thanks for the responses. I was expecting the 1.5” to be too large. The Mark Parnes system looks like a good solution for me. Pretty affordable and I have two single sided swingarm Honda’s it should work well on. He also has an upgrade for the Harbor Freight balancer I use on some of my vintage...

Hub hole size on rear wheels?

I've just taken the front wheels from my "new" 2015 F3S in for a tire change to Yokohama 175/55s, and balance. In looking online for Ride On, as a supplement, I've come across portable bubble balancers on Amazon, that all accept a hub hole size down to 1.5". I'm wondering if the smaller rear...

    Tire pressure recommendations

I had an order in at Tire Rack for the same Contis, but the shipment they expected didn’t arrive after 10 days, and then became ETA unknown. Changed to Yokohama Avids which were the only tire in the 165/60 or 175/55 range for the F3 available. They’ve been strongly recommended by one or more...

Where is the VIN Frame Stamp Location (not sticker) on 2020 F3-S?

I'm going through the same issue with my 2015 F3S and my op manual identifies the same area. Is your Spyder and F3S? When you say it was on a painted part of the frame, I'm assuming the black painted frame, not something like the footrest support tube or A-arms which are painted in the accent...

Help! Frame stamped VIN, where is it??

There has been some discussion of where the frame stamped VIN is located in the RT forum, but I can find nothing here in F3-land. I have a “new” 2015 F3S, so maybe the location is the same as the later RTs, on the inside of the right frame rail, just behind the front wheel. If anyone else has...

    Tire availability? 165/55R15

My thoughts exactly. On the second day of my ride home to San Diego from Phoenix AZ, after purchase, I had 2 routes picked out. One was freeway and the other one of my favorite backroad routes with sweepers and some twisties. I'd originally planned to take the fun way, but after getting to...

    Tire availability? 165/55R15

Thanks for the 185 suggestion, but this being my first set after first purchase, I think I'll stick with the 175s, as they should be closest to stock, and the rear has a new stocker. I'm just a newbie after 55 years on two wheels and i'm just starting to feel and understand what that third...

    Tire availability? 165/55R15

All good feedback for the 175/55 & 60. Haven't been on the forum for years and now finally have an F3. Don't know if it's a well known site here, but just found tire-calac.com. Great site if your researching and concerned about fitment.

    Tire availability? 165/55R15

I'm in need and am going for the 175/55/15s. Plenty available. Closer in daimeter to stock, just a we bit fatter. Shouldn't be a problem for my "new" 2015 F3S..:2thumbs:

About to purchase, also need advice

Found one that looks good.. So I've found a 2015 F3S about 600 miles away. Asking price of $12,500 and 18K miles. I've just emailed the owner to ask about condition. I'd like to know what changes have been made from the '15 model to current itteration. I don't think many, but would certainly...

About to purchase, also need advice

Like Panda, my confident days with a 2 wheeled tourer are becoming uncomfortable. I'm about to spring for one of the F3s, but am not sure which will fit my needs best. I'm coming from a Suzi 650 VStrom to a recent Honda NT700VA Deauville and now to the Spyder. The supply of any F3 models in San...
