• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake pad rubbing noise - what is the correct way to fix this?

Might be the pad is glazed a bit. What i've done is run up to 20mph or so, hit the brake pedal hard. Do this a couple times. I leave it to you to do it safely.

BajaRon: thanks for the info and updates as they occur. I'm scheduled for rear rotor replacement at your shop Tuesday PM and am hoping the roads will improve. My route will be thru Boone to 321 to Greenville where we plan on staying the night before heading on the Maggie. Will check in...

I’m getting frustrated with the belt vibration - any ideas to help?

This has probably already been said, but I wonder if some of the vibration reported is a result of the belt tension being altered slightly when the new tire was installed. Doesn't take much.

Anyone made Jump Start Terminals for an F3T? Where & how do you mount terminals?

Leave the Frunk Liner out, find some heavy plastic, canvas, etc; make a flap that cover the back side of the frunk. If you then need a jump, lift flap, attach jumpers direct to batt terminals. I rode in rain once or twice for short periods and no water got on anything stored in the frunk.

Do I need a pad spacer when Changing Front Brake Rotors?

Thanks for all the info. Got it done today without any problems. As Jay said above, it took a bit of wriggling to get one on, but the other one slid on easily. I'll pay for it tomorrow with aching leg muscles.

Do I need a pad spacer when Changing Front Brake Rotors?

Want to change OEM rotors to EBC's. After loosening calipers, before sliding off the rotor, is there room for a spacer to keep the pads open? Is there even a need for a spacer? There may be a U Tube on this, but I couldn't find it.

White knuckle test ride - can I learn to like this? Buy newish or older/cheaper?

If you decide on a scooter, get a Burgman 400. I rode them for several years, handled interstate speed and turbulence easily.

Any of you made your own Radiator (grill) covers? Any pics/instructions?

I take it you installed them all the way back, up against factory screen?

Replaced the OEM battery on my 2021RTL (Pic)

I bought a new '22 RT in April 2023 and had to replace the OEM last fall. I think a lot of the early '20-'22 (maybe '23 also) had poor quality batteries. Good to know NAPA and O'Reilly have replacements.

Oil filler cap is VERY hard to get off and back on correctly - anyone else? Fixes?

My '22 has always been tight. I keep a pair of pliers on the shelf where I park and use them to open and close.

Any riding roads suggestions for Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge PKW

The BRP between Jefferson NC and Boone NC is closed for road work. Been that way for some months now. Not sure of distance but about 20mi or so. The detour is well marked.

Tires... again - any feedback on Kumho Rear, Kenda Kanine Fronts?

Put a set of these on my '22 RT about 4K mi ago and am well pleased with them. They balanced with only one weight per wheel. Running 15lb front, 18rear Altimax45.

Need a Seat Strut with more lift - any suggestions?

Yep, works for me too, other than mine is a round dowel about 3/4" in diameter. One end slips into hole on left rear. I tacked a rubber bushing on one end to keep it from slipping. Might get around to painting it black one of these days.

Finally, doing Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway in May!

There is a short section closed for work on bridges between Jefferson NC and BRP exit at RT 421. I'm guessing about 18-20mi. The detour around this, RT 163 over to RT 221 to RT 421/BRP is a nice ride and offers you a stop at W.Jefferson for fast food, gas, etc if you want. It might well...

When To Replace Belt tensioner/Vibration Damper/Idler Pulley?

Looks like BRP calls it an "Idler Pulley" or am I reading this wrong? Whatever it is, we all know what we're writing about. LOL https://www.canampartshouse.com/oemparts/p/can_am/705503291/idler-pulley Thanks all for the feedback and Mikey, your suggestion about feeling of the roller every...
