• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the general opinion - Wax or Ceramic on your Spyder?

Turtle Wax brand Ceramic is popular on car forums. I've used it for several years on bikes and cars. Make sure it says it can be used on plastic & rubber trim without whitening. Edited: I'm wrong, this is what I use...

Any advice on side luggage compartments that won't open?

On '20-up, lay down on floor, look up under towards front of bag and you will see the cable adjuster. Loosen tiny lock nut, screw adjusting nut one way or another until your lid opens when you pull the latch.

We talked about a new rear tire for me. I bought one. But is this typical of Kendas?

One thing never talked about much is which tires provide the softer ride. Some of us prefer a softer ride over long wear. I've tried several car tires, front and rear, diff Can Am's, and for me, there's no question but they ride stiffer.

My RT622 with Class 1 cooler basket on the rear of the trailer!

Several years ago I mounted a heavy duty plastic box on aluminum frame I made for a trailer hitch on my '14 RT to haul some light stuff to a Rally. Two hundred miles and vibration has started loosening bolts. Couple more hundred and plastic box had lost lid and began cracking. Needless to say...

Will RonBar help with Drifting on Secondary Roads with Crowns?

Threewheels; I've not come to any decision yet. I plan on going to Maggie Valley Rally in Oct and if they are being installed there, I might have one put on just for heck of it. Either it helps or it doesn't. Appreciate all the replies from everyone.

Will RonBar help with Drifting on Secondary Roads with Crowns?

LOVE IT! LOL .............. will try some diff pressures to see if that helps. Running 16psi in both (I think) but need to check. I normally do keep eye on pressures, but often let time slip by. Thanks all for the feedback.

Will RonBar help with Drifting on Secondary Roads with Crowns?

My '22 RT tracks exceptionally well on good roads but on secondary roads, which are old with some crowning and unevenness, it seems to wander about more than my previous F3T which had the RonBar. Not bad, but just wondering if a Bar will help? PS: I know this subject has been covered a lot...

Who's planning to go to Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures 2023?

Me too, if it don't rain. Last year was great, other than my buddy's RT was acting up. Got part way home and figured out it was lack of coolant!

F4 Custom windshield - any idea of bracket bolt size/thread?

Can u take the other one for comparison to Lowes/Home Depot or any good hardware and find a replacement? Most of these can size what you have.

HHC (Hill Hold Control) - what am I doing wrong? Why won't it work?

I can think of a number of things they can do better other than a hill holder. :yikes:

    Been awhile. Up graded.

I don't think I will ever get a bike I like better than the F3. For me, the seating and far forward foot rest options are outstanding. I'm finally getting my '22 RT more comfortable but still lack the far forward foot rest capability. I know all this is a very personal choice so take it with...

Does your Saddlebag need to be slammed to latch?

If the cable is routed anything like the RT, lay down and look up under the front of the bag and you should see the adjusting nuts: one is a lock nut, the other is a longer type nut that you Loosen or tighten. I had slammer on mine till I found how easy it was to adjust them.

2016 RTS, adjustable back rest - how to adjust forward?

I've got a similar one on my '22 RT and the plate is made so you loosen the 2 screws and slide the plate up, & tighten if you want the backrest forward.

Guess what everyone? I have a new 2023 F3 LTD - Mineral Blue.

Dee, congrats. Good choice; I miss my '16 F3T that I recently traded for an RT. I have a 14 & 16 inch 7Jurock with the flip in decent cond that you can have for the cost of shiping. I really liked the 16' as I could look over and it flowed air over my helmet. I had a 17" on when...
