Has any Canadians try to buy a best warranty in the u.s.?
Yes this is what we got...531 bucks for a 70 mile tow and brp picked up $200. My wife bought AAA for fear it will happen again.
In fairness to brp the best warranty covered the first $200, but we still need to get it the dealership.
My wife's 2014 st 11500km had this happen 115km from home $531 tow.:yikes:
My wife's 2014 st just had this happen 115km from home $531 tow!
Wow you're lucky, my local dealership charges a 10‰ markup on brp catalogue prices!
This sums it all up......
Ya I will take off the Tupperware and have a closer look. I was hoping someone else had a similar leak from the brake peddle area so I can advise the techs what to look for. I guess I am the only one...
Good to hear from you again. :2thumbs:[/QUOTE]

I show everyone this vid, and a buddy of mine makes slurping noises when ever someone asks me questions about the Spyder
I didnt do the repair the shop did so I am certain it would be OEM, plus they charged me over $400 to do it.
So I notice today that BRP has recalled 2013 T and St models because of melting on the brake cylinder. Last year I had brake fluid leaking near the peddle on my 2009 RS. I took it in assuming it was...
The real punch line is nobody in Alberta or Canada could legally carry a pistol.

I dont lean in the twisties...I hang off the side. Last year I did some mountain twisties in Montana with a Goldwing and a C90 cruiser following me and I had to stop LOTS to let them catch up and...
I am kinda going backwards. Back 19 years ago just before I married my first wife I decided that while I still had control over my own life ;) that I would get a motorcycle. I bought a old Honda 750K...
Wow...for my rear tire it was $200 for tire 2 x $110/hour + ride on balance = $500!
How about this one...got rear tire changed out and I asked how much...$219.00 (BRP Kendra) just for the tire. I said hey I just got a 2013 catalog in the mail the day before and the price in there is...
I got the recall letter from BRP last week, they want me to bring the bike to the shop!!! Is the a Canadian thing?
I think I will stock up on O/C kits next time I am in the States, almost $100 for the kit up here!!!nojoke
The Spyder is my first ride and I have always discounted a M/C because of height restrictions, however I have been looking at the M109R with love in my eyes and from what I understand a really tall...
Great guys there, drove all the way from Calgary to buy mine from them.
This morning Banner Rec had a picture on Facebook with a new Spyder owner, it was you !
Im 6'8" about 260 with 37" inseam and have zwro intrest in the RT, mostly because of the rider position. On my GS/RS the first thing I did was take the seat off and took it to a seat rebuilder to...
I have a small nick in mine on the top edge, not sure how long it has been there but it does play with my mind when I ride. Replacing it at $200 plus install is crazy though if it is not going to...
And here I thought it was tough to sell my Seado Jet boat now...guess I will never get to use that side of my garage:banghead:
I don't think it is that hard to do. You need to fill out the RIV with customs before you get to the border and I think it's duty free but you need to pay GST. Prices in the US are about 20-30% less...
Vancouver is at $1.35/L thats $5.10/gal. Here in Calgary its $1.115/L or $ 4.35 and we are the cheapest in the country, and we made the darn stuff and send it south!!!!:banghead:
