Is Maintenance Access any easier on an F3S?
Every time I have to make even a minor repair to my wife's RTL, I have to remove a minimum of seven pieces of plastic first. Now she wants me to buy my own cycle. Is the F3S any easier to access?

The F3S engine is much easier to access. Changing oil is also a breeze compared to the RT.

I agree. I have had both and the F3 is a piece of cake.

I can strip most of the covers off my F3-S in about 15 minutes. It is so easy I have taken the covers off to keep from scratching them when working on it.
Even the rear fender is a breeze. Take out two bolts and pivot it stright up on the other two. Tire will roll right out from under.

Our 2023 RT is much easier to get at the oil filter when changing oil. One little panel comes off easily to get to the filter.

Thank you to everyone who replied. I'm not so anxious now.

I find the more you do it the easier it gets.

~~~~strictly speaking for myself- If I based my buying decision on how easy something is to service, I’d still be riding Moto Guzzis. Others may have better and different ideas
