Thank you, Ms. 8 legs!! If I didn't know any better I'd swear that was a Phantom in that picture...

Thanks Sir! I got her from East Bay Motorsports Hayward. Same place as the RS-S. I work down that way, so perhaps we'll cross paths! That would be cool!

Many thanks. I still can't believe it happened. We were talking about getting a second, and while I was waiting to get the backrest installed on the RS-S, I looked over and there she was! I was hooked immediately. Just in the right place at the right time I guess. That doesn't happen to me very often.

I had almost the same scenario. I bought my Phantom and back rest. After 3 weeks the wife said she wanted her own. We went and looked at the RS-S because she liked the white. When she tried the SE5 she hated it, so we ended up with another Phantom.

She thought it took away the motorcycle experience. It felt more like a scooter. Plus she couldn't rev it up and dump the clutch.

Many congrats, we are also looking at adding a second as my wife is now eyeing my phantom instead of her ZX9! Just 1 question how are the phantoms numbered? Is it the last three digits of the VIN??

Personally I really liked the SE5 on the RS-S... once you got your technique down you could ride that thing like an F1 car! It downshifts really fast and is very responsive. At least mine was. And I wasn't overly gentle on it either! You just have to watch your shift points on decel because it tends to wnat to shift for you if you are not paying attention. Other than that it was great! I Just wanted to grab gears myself again! Can't explain it, probably a guy thing! Or it's the old racer in me. One or the other!
There was just something about this Phantom though that is just me. And the Pearl white on the RS-S is beautiful, which is her! So I think we'll make a pretty interesting duo toolin on down the road together. I can't wait!

Yes Sir, to the best of my knowledge, that is the case. Last three of the VIN.

BTW, that avitar pic seems like it has project restore written all over it! If that is the case, I think that will be a heck of a deal. You'll have to keep me posted!
