• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many of your Spouse's ride their own machines? I only have the one spouse and she's a perpetual passenger. ;)

And who's going to protect our minds from Newsmax?

What did you do to your Spyder today?

That's what I was thinking of doing with my new Fobo's. Installing them to make sure they work properly, then removing the batteries for storage.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Not according to Fobo. They state that the transmitters broadcast continuously. 24/7. According to them, this is why you can have your Spyder in the garage, not moving or not having moved for a while, and pull up the ap and see your tire pressures and temps. FOBO TPMS sensors transmit...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too. But I wanted to make sure that they work, with my luck, they'd be DOA and I'd miss the return period and have to mess around with warranty replacement. It's a conundrum and my laziness will probably make my decision easier since I'd have to move my...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I just now ordered, finally, a set of Fobo TPMS for my F3. Amazon has em for the lowest price that I've seen so far, $112.60 for the set of three. I have my Spyder put away for the winter, debating on uncovering it to install the sensors and testing or waiting till Spring. I don't think that I...

    Northern Lights in Northern Illinois.

We've been there a number of times, very nice. We like camping at the Mississippi Palisades State Park near Savanna.

These cameras collect more light with a longer exposure time, thus the brighter pic and more vibrant colors.

Cell phone pictures. The phone did all the work; I just pointed it and pressed the button. iPhone 15 adjusted the settings on its own for the longer than normal exposure times.

My wife and I have lived in our house for almost 40 years, and we have never seen Auroras here in all that time. I received a notice from Spaceweather.com about a major CME in progress. I went outside just before bedtime to take a looksee. At first all I could see was a faint green glow and I...

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

Yep, a top-of-the-line 2025 Mazda Miata MX-5 can be had for less than $40k and I'm sure that if that Honda was real, it would be north of that price.

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

And it's not even April 1st!

My math skills are a bit rusty since I retired and no longer have to use said knowledge regularly. I can still count to three and all the way up to four on a good day. While that Honda looks super cool, four wheels does not make a trike, no matter who's counting.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Sady, it's time to put my F3 to bed for the winter. Changed oil, washed and detailed, rode to the gas station, dumped in 3oz of Sta-bil, then filled 'er up with 93 octane, rode home, covered her up, and tucked her in, in the garage with her favorite cover along with a couple of poison mouse...
