• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is my Battery failing? Or not?

Allright, let's say that a new float charger is recommended. I see NOCO Genius chargers (with desulfinating circuit) for sale but are rated anywhere from 1 to 10 amps. Which one is appropriate for a Can-Am battery? They seem to be all out of stock on the NOCO website. My local Cabela's has 5 amp...

Is my Battery failing? Or not?

I hesitated to start a new thread on a subject that has permeated this site quite thoroughly but breaking into the middle of someone else's thread might not get the answer I'm looking for. A Yuasa 350cca battery was installed in my 2024 RT-L in October 2024. It has always been on a tender when...

Using an iPhone with BRP-Go Navigation - Review

Have you tried using iPhone screen mirroring? You won't get a full screen image on your Mac but it will be much larger than what your iPhone screen provides. Plus you can use your keyboard and mouse to create your itinerary. I haven't tried it yet but it looks doable.

Using an iPhone with BRP-Go Navigation - Review

I've read a number of posts regarding the issues with android phones and the new BRP-Go navigation but not much about how things are going with those of us who use iPhones. So here goes: Installation was easy enough with no hiccups. When I got ready for my test ride today, I logged into my...

    It's Heeeeerrrrrrreeeeeeeee!!!!!!! Navigation!

If you want to go back to apple carplay simply go back into preferences and scroll down to navigation. Turn it off and the apple carplay applet reappears. Back to brp-go? turn navigation back on.

I just did a Software Update on my new 2026 S2S!

I just checked for updates and 4.1 is still the latest version (at least for my '24 RTL). You would think that a new 2026 would come from the factory with the latest version, but there may be sub-elements of that version that may only apply to recent manufactures that need an update. How they...

Has anybody figured out a way to reset CarPlay while riding? (‘25 Canyon Redrock)

This might be where Android Auto sees daylight on the 10.25" screen. I'm not holding my breath on if or when it arrives, but at least BRP is recognizing that there is a demand for Android Auto. I screenshot this from...

Has anybody figured out a way to reset CarPlay while riding? (‘25 Canyon Redrock)

It looks like version 5.0.0 is for Ski-Doos, not on-road RT's. 4.1.0 is still the latest version as far as I can tell.

Is the Alternator shaft squeal just a nuisance, or is it damaging anything?

I'd like to know more about this TSB. A copy of it would be even better. My service manager says that neither he or BRP know anything about this noise and that the squeal I hear is my imagination. He says that he hears nothing out of the ordinary. Boy, would I like to present him with this TSB!

CarPlay Froze, then entire Head Unit Froze Up While Riding, then supposedly updated and rebooted on the Highway - Anyone else had this happen?

I'm going to throw something out here that just may (or may not) go a long way to solving everyone's Apple CarPlay problems. It has to do with network radio frequency interference (RFI). I became curious about this subject and how it could play a part in our ACP connectivity problems. So, as an...

Can the Passenger Back Rest on a 2025 S2S be moved forward a few inches? Not the whole trunk, just the backrest...

Inside the top case there are two #20 torx screws on the front of the case on either side of the top case removal tool holder. After removing them you should be able to remove the passenger backrest. I'm not sure that you will be accomplish anything though. You may have better luck just adding a...

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

From the wiring schematics, I saw that there is by default a 5 amp fuse in #6 and it is switched. #7 is currently vacant. If you want your USB accessories hot all the time, then pull the fuse out of #6 and put in #7.

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

No, it would be entirely different, and I'm not brave enough to try. The 2024 RT Console Harness schematic shows this:

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

I have to wonder if there is also a capped GPS wire behind the Spyder 10.25" screen?

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

The Can-Am Ski-Doo has this now. If you go to: https://ski-doo.brp.com/us/en/discover-ski-doo/technologies/10-25-display.html You will get a good idea of what potentially awaits us.
