• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed TricLED 9005 bulbs in a pre-2019 RT Ltd (2017 Australian model) - LED lights don't work! Any ideas?

After sorting out the bulbs I have re-assembled the bike and find the Tricled 9005's don't work. As a test I refitted one of the Halogen 9005 bulbs and it works - return the Tricled and it doesn't play ball. Is there a reset or something to tell the Canbus I've switched to LED's? I recall...

Installed TricLED 9005 bulbs in a pre-2019 RT Ltd (2017 Australian model) - LED lights don't work! Any ideas?

Ok, I found that the flanges can come off the model bulb I have. Once I understood how they were mounted together I re-assembled both bulbs. I ended up removing the frunk entirely which enabled better access, and the opportunity to create new wiring looms for my Baja Design S2 Pro's up front.

Installed TricLED 9005 bulbs in a pre-2019 RT Ltd (2017 Australian model) - LED lights don't work! Any ideas?

I bit the bullet and decided to give the Tricled 9005 bulbs a go in my '17 RT Ltd. Having a cupboard with a half dozen other brand LED's that were either no better or were worse, I thought it was time. A few questions: How do I stop the flange of the LED bulb from rotating on the bulb body so...

What Non-chip key blank will work for a 2024 RT for the trunk and saddlebags??

Any key blank with the same profile as the OEM key. I took my smart key to the locksmith and he made one - issued to the chief cook.

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

This was my experience too - so much better behaved in many ways. Even my Nav reported it being a big improvement (as we know happy wife happy life)

Headlight "hazing" pre 2019 RT models

Now it makes sense. It seems the fog lights were never intended to be Headlights but BRP seems to have met compliance requirements by moving the "Low Beam role" to the lower position. 1. Beam height regulations (ADR 13/00 & reg 176) In Australia, the top edge of a low beam’s main light must...

Headlight "hazing" pre 2019 RT models

Tried them and the coverage was worse than the OEM halogens which from speaking with a few seems related to the design of the reflector type headlight.

Headlight "hazing" pre 2019 RT models

A question out of curiosity regarding light covers on the pre 2019 RT models. In Australia our low and high beam headlights are in different positions as shown in the picture below: I am on my 4th set of plastic lenses for the low beams, and I use the standard HB3/9005 bulbs. The...
