• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First time ride on my Spyder today - I think I'm gonna like it!

I remember my first spyder. Traded a 2017 Harley Ultra in on a new 2020 RTL. Left dealership and got on a Interstate for a 260 mile ride home. Never been on a spyder so once on the interstate and running with everyone else was scary at first. Passing trucks was eye opener. Running 75mph...

Do I just keep pumping with Speed Bleeders until the line fills up?

ok so calling dealer and getting a price of about $350 bucks to flush and replace brake fluid on my 2024 F3L, I am going to get speed bleeders and do it myself. Two questions, do I need to have the park brake off before taking out oem bleeder on rear caliber and does the fluid capturing bottle...

What changes between a New 2026 RT vs a 2021 RT might make worthwhile considering?

For me the new dash layout from 2024 on is much much better. The info is better displayed. Much more information available. Much easier to see the information on the fly, especially when in traffic, when only a glance is what you have. At night, the readings are easier to see. Reverse, as...

Spyder decisions - any suggestions on what to buy as my first Spyder?

For me, it is the F3L Limited model. You get a 'sit in the bike' feel, as opposed to the RTL, where you get a 'sit on top of the bike' feel.

Any Modification recommendations from those who tour on their Spyders?

Do not forget a good set of rain gear. Nothing like staying dry in those long rainy day rides. Once wet, not fun riding hours on end. Waterproof boots, gloves a must. Do not go skimpy on raingear, as when a leaky seam shows up, you're not going to be happy.

Anyone know of something similar to a tank bag for a 15 F3?

I brought this back to life thinking that since last entry, there are newer products on the market that riders are aware about. Looking for a tank bag for a 2024 F 3 Limited.

2024 will not start after long ride then parked for 1 hr - Anyone else? What fix?

Strange, I have ridden my '24 in temps of 106°F for hours and had no problem after gas ups.

Get acquainted with the bike before making a lot of purchases. You may find out you don’t need as much “stuff” as you thought.

Any advice on 'better than stock' F3 heated grips?

BRP did a good job of redesign of the heated grips with the 2024 F3L. Has multiple settings and definitely warm.

Who has the factory adjustment data for a 2025 Spyder RT belt adjustment in mm?

My first Spyder was a 2020 RTL. I had a whine noise in the 47-51 mph range but with the panels, the noise was tolerable. I traded for a 2022 F3L Limited and had same type of noise but with a more exposed engine area with the F3 design, the noise was now more audible. I now have a 2024 F3L...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

When one is riding a machine as a motorcycle, it would be rather hard to surmise the outcome if one would make contact with a moving object such as a animal. The aftermath outcome with a favorable result diminishes quickly.

Adrie have you found the root cause of your noise?

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

My advice is to keep your money in your pocket and just get more seat time in. Experience is cheap. These newer bikes are set up quite well from factory. Just learn with what you have, but, that is just me. Then, if you feel the need for some change go for it.
