• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A post from Lamont on FB...

I also read this on Facebook. It saddened me, but he knows his state of mind and his limits. But he is also knows the power of prayer and he can best believe that we are all still praying for the best outcome and His will being done.🙏

Need to ship a Spyder from Spearfish, SD to Raleigh, NC - anyone know of a good, fair, shipping option? Any recommendations?

I have a buddy in urgent need for spyder transport. He went to the 3 wheeled Rally in S.D. and just called me to say that his front shaft broke. He is in between deciding if he wants to fix it, junk it, or trade it in. In order to give him some time to make the decision, he would like to get it...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

These are the posts that I love to read. The fact that you have averaged about 10k miles a year is great. I don't do that many on my Spyder, but between my Spyder, my wife's Spyder, and my BMW K1600, I average about 8-10k miles each year also. So many people have bikes with 3-4k miles after 3-5...

My Uncle was hurt in this 2026 RTL Crash!

Prayers for a quick and complete recovery. Thankful that it wasn't any worse and thankful that the person at fault was caught.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Rode the RTL to Roxboro today for church. It was cloudy and looked like rain, but at least it wasn't in the mid to upper 90's. Did a total of 110 miles before filling it up with premium and bringing it home. It was a great day, and I did not get wet.

2023 vs 2024-26 Spyder RTL - Worth it?

I am a bargain hunter, so I go with whatever gets me the most bang per buck. But just know that each year there are little improvements that they might not even tell you, but they make them due to prior complaints. Things like better cables for the saddle bag latches, better shocks for the...

Trying to add States to my States Traveled map - how?

I hate to bring this back up. But I have finished the lower 48 states and would like to add them to my map on the signature page. Can someone lead me to the step by step instructions on how to do this? I did it a while back, but cannot find the turorial now.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yes sir! I used to like to ride out after around 6 pm in the evening and get home by 8 pm. That way I would avoid the traffic and heat. But this year, the heat index is into the mid to low 90's until it is dark outside. With my eyesight, night riding is a no go for me. So yes, early morning...

How noticeable is the Engine heat: F3 vs RT?

When riding in excessive heat, I actually feel more from the heat reflecting off the pavement than I do from the RT or the F3. Now, when I had my 2012 RSS, that was a different story.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Well, I did get out on July 4th. Left home about 6:45 and met up with some local riders. They were all on sport bikes and geared up. So I decided to break away and do my own thing. Did 110 miles on some back roads to the South and West of me. Stopped for a picture opportunity at a mural and at a...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Doing nothing today, but trying to decide how early I will need to get out for a ride tomorrow or on July 4th. Some around here like to do "night rides". They get out and ride when it's cooler and mostly to show off their lights. I am on the other side. My night time vision isn't what it...

    Goodbye

Yes, it is different. But at the same time, it is the best one that I have found for the spyder community. I am grateful that someone was able to take it over and keep it going. That is a task that not many would undertake. I am getting older and hate change, but that is something that I have...

How much weight do you tow?

You are correct. The tongue weight is 40 pounds max. They really play it safe with those weights. I have a rack for the rear of the F3T from BRP and the max for that is 10 pounds. I purchased another one since then, but they only thing I used the other one for was a small bag with our rain...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

With a stretch of five 100+ degree days in the forecast, with heat index from 105-110, I had to get out this weekend. Got with a couple of friends on Saturday and did a nice little 160 mile ride early in the morning. The goal was to get home before 12, but we missed it by 45 minutes. And you...

    Canyon Carving on a Canyon

Nice review. I have not had a chance to ride one yet, so I will save my opinion. Who knows, I might be surprized like I was with the F3 series. I was having my 2014 RT serviced and got a chance to ride a 2016 F3T. All I could talk about was the small frunk and how much it looked like a lawn...
