• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2024 RT L back at the dealer for the 9th time in 3 months!! How long until you give up?

I can definitely feel your pain and dissappointment. I just had issues with the saddle bag latches on my 2021 and I was ready to throw in the towel. I can only imagine the frustration that you must feel. Good luck on what ever you decide and hopefully you will not loose too bad on this deal.

2024 RT L back at the dealer for the 9th time in 3 months!! How long until you give up?

I agree 100%. Even though I just finished a 9,045 mile cross country trip on my 2021 RTL with zero issues, I still have had more troubles previously on that bike than I did on any of the 5 other Spyders that I have owned. One was a 2012 RSS; one a 2014 RT,; and 3 x 2016 F3 Series bikes. They...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Rode the F3 to the gym this morning. Forecast for the next 7 days range from 100-97 so I don't think I will ride much after today.

Are the rear wheels for 2015 RT's and 2023 RT's Identical?

I am not 100% sure, but I am thinking they would be the same. They both have the same tooth count for the rear sprocket. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

Too hot to ride the Spyder - took the boat...

We rode the Spyders last Saturday here in NC, and it was extremely hot. Welcomed the 4 miles or so when we got caught in a rain shower. Rode the F3L to the gym this morning since there is 97-100 degree temps being forecast for the next 7 days.

Where is the throttle harness connector for a 2025 F-3 Ltd Pedal Box install - can anyone help?

After watching the video, it looks just like the installation on my 2016 F3L. But I learned after installing one on my F3T and decided to just let the control piece be underneath the top right panel. That way it stays out of the weather and is still easily accessible.

    Define "Old"

I am the youngest of 6 kids, and my oldest sister was married when I was born. When I went to the first grade, my mom was 50 and dad was 54. After seeing the other kids parents, I really thought mine were old. Now that I am well beyond that, 50 and 54 don't seem so old anymore. Unfortunately...

My first impressions of the 2023 Spyder RTL

Welcome! I think your thoughts on the lack of power is probably due to the delay in acceleration. That can be fixed with either a pedal commander or pedal box (I prefer the commander). They will not add any additional power, but it will give it to you more on demand. As for cornering, it can be...

FS: 2020+ Spyder RT Windshields for sale

This is strange. I have a windshield that I have installed on my 2014 RT and transferred it to my 2021 RTL with no problems.

2016 Spyder F3-T - is this a Battery showing signs of age/decay? Or is it not charging? If so, why?

I have found that a simple battery maintainer from Harbor Freight will do the trick for me. And for batteries, Battery Plus has good deals on batteries and have lasted me as long, or longer than the high dollar ones from other sources. I have 2 Spyders and a 2 wheeler and only really get to ride...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got in a nice 225 mile ride up to Kerr Lake with my buddy. Funny how both of us have RTL Spyders, but we were on our wife's F3 series bikes for the ride. Temps were around 95° with a heat index of 105° before we finished. Got caught in rain for about 4 miles and it was a blessing. The cool rain...

Deer collision - safer on a Spyder? Thoughts? Or first-hand accounts?

There was a member here years ago who rode with his wife (she had her own spyder). She collided with a deer and was injured severely. The bike did not flip or anything, but she sustained really bad injuries and was in a coma for a good while. She eventually passed from this and he hasn't been...

Anyone had to change 2020+ RT Radiator?

Not sure if that is the issue, but my buddy is taking his 2020 RTL into the shop today. His coolant has been running low and the last time he rode it he came home to find fluid leaking underneath. He has the guards on the front, and is very picky about the upkeep of his bike. Keeps it clean...

How many of your Spouse's ride their own machines?

My wife has her own. She started out with the red F3T and later said she wanted a black one. I came across a deal on a 2021 RTL and she took over my F3L. She doesn't ride it much, and prefers to ride as a passenger. She does only about 250 miles a year, although this is a picture from 2022...

New guy checking in - just picked up a new leftover '23 RT Limited.

I feel you about loving the 3 wheels. I am about your age and have a BMW K1600 to go along with my 2021 RTL. My wife also has a 2016 f3L which I actually love riding better than either one of my bikes. Either way, I also feel like I will always have a 3 wheeler.
