• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Anyone familiar with these codes - U0155 & P074D - Any ideas?

Just had U0155 during a ride over the weekend. Passed 700 miles on a 2024 RTL. Apple Carplay was active and the 10.25 Display rebooted while riding after the Navigation froze. Coincidentally, the Navi from the same iPhone froze in my 2023 Honda Ridgline then rebooted the touchscreen on the...

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

Pulled the trigger on the Amazon XT2 deal at $449 with extended Holiday return time until 1-31-2026. Should know by then if it works well enough.

Tough crowd! For the URL junkies: https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/discover-can-am/connectivity/10-25-display.html Expand under FAQ for Android on 10.25 display.

Wait for new version of BRP GO compatible with Android for 10.25 inch display or get dedicated GPS?

BRP site says the new version of BRP GO, which is coming Spring 2026, will support iOS or Android without a headset. Does anyone’s past experiences with BRP GO lend confidence to this might actually work? Trying to decide on Black Friday deals on GPS’s.

After some True Can-Am insight - will I be making a huge mistake buying the RTL or F3?

It’s a brilliant bike with some expensive maintenance down the road. If you really want one, just be aware of what you’re getting into. Slow speed maneuvers requires “trail braking” with the rear brake and selecting “eco” mode for mild throttle response for tight circles and figure 8’s. The...

Looking for a good GPS - Touring, no off road. Considering Garmin Zumo XT - thoughts?

New 2024 Spyder RT Limited rider - dealing with the “maps” on display adventure. Installed Carda Freecom 4X to both our helmets, Bluetooth to Freecoms only from Spyder with iPhone plugged in to glove box does work great for Carplay. However, wife’s android phone no dice. I could use Waze and...

    Welcome, NutinElse2do

New Spyder rider here! We just traded a 2018 Goldwing for a 2024 RT Limited to reignite 2-up riding and allow my wife to get back into the “fun part” of driving it. We both had bikes before children and I had something to ride 25 out of the last 44 years. Most dealers in Florida offer test...

    Welcome, Bob from Florida

Thanks! We just made the transition from 2 to 3 wheels. Best for the “2-up riding” experience and lots of fun solo!

After some True Can-Am insight - will I be making a huge mistake buying the RTL or F3?

Just went from a normal 2018 Goldwing Tour DCT to a 2024 Spyder RT Limited. Close to 600 miles and have had the engine in the powerband a few times, much better get up and go there. The Wing’s engine has 100 ft-lbs of torque anywhere above maybe 1200 RPM, revving not required for serious get up...

Kenda tires - I truly don't understand the hateful responses to Kenda tires. I have over 22,000 km on mine and they're only 50% worn.

Our 1 month old 2024 RT Limited had 28 psi rear and 24 psi front - from the dealer setup. Changing to 20 psi front made a pretty remarkable improvement in smoothness with less twitchiness. The 2025 model was $2000 more and included the "XPS" versions of the Kenda's. I figure we would save the...

Anyone used a Calsci XL replacement windshield? Could you share results?

Just purchased a new 2024 RT Limited. I am 6'1" and my wife is 5'9" - we share driving time, so I have experienced buffeting as a driver and passenger, as has my wife. Top of shield is almost in line of sight at lowest position - would like slightly less. Driver is okay at low position in...

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

Point I was making is just before a normal oil change interval, the oil is much darker in color than fresh oil.

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

Over 500 miles on new Spyder now. Checked the oil - ran engine for > 10 minutes and it has sufficient oil on dipstick. Took several tries to be sure as the clarity was "like new" oil. Service is under pressure - across all industries - to provide as much revenue as possible. Planting an idea...

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

Received a reply from BRP on first service - shown below. —————————————————————— [email protected] <[email protected]> Mon, Oct 27, 11:12 AM (1 day ago) to me Hello Robert, Thanks for reaching out to BRP and thank you for your interest. The maintenance schedule recommended by BRP...

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

Thanks for the replies! The service business is being leaned on more than ever to “improve” the metrics of profitability. The buyer truly needs to “beware”. I also just sent the question directly to Can Am - to see if the reinforces the common sense replies from the group here.
