• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Post-ride disinfect

Other than removing gloves and using a plastic bag (from grocery store or newspaper wrap) as a temporary glove to pump gas, no.

I think I got the top box lid error figured out.

A soft earplug works great! Had that same thing happen after we added the top case to my wife's 2016 F3T. We were attending an event and Lamont was there; I asked him to take a look at it (this was before the more detailed fix shown above). He put a soft earplug in the opening where the top...

    Trailers

RT 622 is my choice My 2014 RTS and my wife's 2016 F3L (both with Can-Am hitch) both have pulled our 622 thousands of miles, including to Homecoming in Valcourt and out to South Dakota (while enjoying the higher speed limits out west). The only problem we're had is we forget it is there! It...

    Highest mileage on ONE Spyder

Should hit 100K this year 2014 RTS with 78K and no issues other than DESS several years ago. Replaced belt as preventive maintenance at 55K. Still runs great and would probably have passed 100K already if my wife didn't let me take her 2016 F3L out all the time!

How many miles on your current Spyder?

    2014 RTS 78,000 miles

    Who carries Extra Fuel? Where/How?

Another vote for Rotopax I carry two, one-gallon Rotopax mounted vertically on a Rotopax bracket on the trailer. While I like to top off once I reach 150 miles on a tank (2014 RTS), I don't count on the 24 hour station actually being open at 3 am - even when I check it before I leave home!

    Iron Butt

Congrats and welcome to the IBA Club! Up until you finish the first IBA certification ride, it is easy to slip into agreement with the "Are you NUTS??" chorus, while you're collecting witnesses and receipts. After the first one, be careful because it can get addicting! Having done at least one...
