• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin smuggler trunk with BRP bags question

Thanks for all the info. vtrider - It does look good. If they weren't such a ripoff for shipping I might consider it even though I would have to paint it myself but $266 to ship it to Montreal is crazy. A friend is shipping a Tacoma pickup from Nanaimo BC (west coast) to Montreal for $1500. I...

Corbin smuggler trunk with BRP bags question

Feel the same way. If I put the smuggler on I know I would meet Megan Fox with her car broken down. I have a couple of small bags or I will get the BRP one that fits on the rack.

Corbin smuggler trunk with BRP bags question

Thanks for the info. Buddy of mine has sort of convinced me not to get it. I sometimes take camera gear (tripod, hiking staff etc) and tie it on the back seat. He figure I should look for a small case or even a bag as I do have the BRP sport rack on it. Still get another month or 2 of winter so...

Corbin smuggler trunk with BRP bags question

I spoke to them on friday but didn't get very far. First they told me they couldn't colour match it (I have the Orange/black 2011 rss) so I would have to have it painted myself. Then I was told it would cost $266 for freight (Perhaps they don't know that Montreal is in Canada, maybe they thought...

Corbin smuggler trunk with BRP bags question

I have searched trying to find an answer to this. I have the corbin saddle and the BRP Givi hard bags installed. I would like to get the Corbin smuggler trunk but have read that it might not fit because of the rear lights relocation. Some have said there is a note on the corbin site saying this...

    GPS Zumo 660

Looks about the same as the mount on my 2011 RSS. Mine was done at the dealer as part of my purchase agreement. The wires were run down the back side of the handle bars and are hidden and out of the way. My bike is stored a t a friends for the winter so can' take any pics. The 660 works great.

    Anyone going to Spyderfest Magog?

Actually if you stay away from the bridges around rush hour you will be all right.

I have run out of patience with BRP.

It really sounds like you need to find a better dealer. In many places there is no special category for 3 wheelers and so they get classified as motorcycles. Most moorcyle tires only last about 5000 miles as they are built very differently than car tires. Many owners switch to car tires which...

    Cleaning while traveling

I have the 2011 rss in the satin copper and black. When I traveled with my bikes I always used Honda or Harly spray cleaner (lemon pledge I think) but not sure how this stuff would work on the satin finish paint. Any suggestions.

    HEAT ISSUES PERHAPS AN EXPLANATION

Well it has been in the low to mid 90's and it shouldremain that way for another couple of months. At my cottage this past weekend had to have 3 air conditioners going full time to be able to sleep. Just a short drive from the canam factory.
