• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder just quit running while riding... Is this an isolated incident?

    I think the issue might be placing your foot on the brake pedal (riding the brake). If you rest your foot on the brake pedal, it will go into limp mode and may stall. Wait 5 min and it should clear. You're new to Spyders and maybe subconsciously have your foot on the brake. I had that issue one...

    Does my Spyder have a bell? Is it to warn of changing gears?

    If you have a Garmin GPS, it has a bell if you set it up for say speed limit change ahead. I have a Garmin 590 with that feature, the bell sound setup to let me know the speed limit will change ahead. Just a guess. See Gremlin bell story below...
