• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT-622 Trailer Cover

Just got back from Maggie Valley (where incidentally I had a wonderful time) and received the trailer cover I had hoped to get before I left! However, the great news is that it is aftermarket, very reasonably priced compared to the BRP version, comes in two colors, seems like reasonable...

    New Forum Section Needed................

A New Guy Perspective So have been a member here for about 6 weeks and a :spyder2: owner for the same period of time. If you read and believe all of the gripes, moans, and complaints that show up here, you can get the impression early on that maybe the :spyder2:is mostly bad and certainly...

    I LUV my Spyder!

Enjoyment I have had my new :spyder2: for one month now and just completed 800 mile trip with 1700 more to go and 2000 total miles at this time. It is running well, makes me happy, and is great for meeting people. With that kind of enjoyment, I think I will love it even if it does give me a...

Yes Yes to the gloves. Mine have quite a bit of mesh they are very comfortable.

    Riding Jackets in the Summer

Mesh in Texas New rider, considered carefully and decided the protection was worth investing in the mesh. Here in Texas, my thought was that mesh could be a three season jacket with a liner or something under it. So far, have riden in temps up to 90+. I can confirm it gets hot when sitting...

    CRUISE CONTROL W/TRAILER

I will use it Good question and I am interested as well. If I am not mistaken, there are a few more past threads about this issue. I am a new RT owner with a 622 trailer and leaving Saturday for what will turn out to be 2500 miles or so in two weeks. I plan to use cruise control at...

    Tempted

No Reason Not to Buy My perspective is a little different.....haven't had my Spyder too long but like everyone else, love it:clap: My new RT is just a month old but I already have 1100 miles on it and planning 2500 more by the middle of June. I think Texas is great riding weather for more of...

    2010 rt to 2013 limited

Love the RT Admittedly I'm new and have no frame of reference regarding other :spyder2:'s but love my 2013 Limited. Ball joints were replaced just had 600 mile service and picked up my new RT-622 trailer. Looking forward to getting on the road. Go for it:thumbup:

    Another Newbe Question

Thanks for the other thread as well. I have read through that document several times. Great reading. I will look into a back rest at least...thought I could probably see some of these other accessories (foot pegs, etc) at the Maggie Valley event. Thanks

    Another Newbe Question

Thanks good advice, especially about the chargers! Does anyone else wish everything could be charged by some sort of universal charger?. Any specific advice about the hitch lock and a secondary lock? Also, does anyone sell aftermarket cover for the trailer? BMPs price seems a bit...

    Another Newbe Question

Bob, Thanks for the vote of confidence. I don't think I should have to do more than 450 miles a day. Hydration seems to be a theme from everyone. Sleep is not a problem....I figure if I can still walk when I get off the Spyder, I can make it to the bed....

    Another Newbe Question

I have about 700 miles on a new 2013 RT Limited, most of it in the local area here in Texas. However, I have the opportunity to make a trip to Illinois for work and then on to Maggie Valley for the owner's event, finally returning to Texas. Total mileage is about 2500 over two weeks. 600 mile...
