• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Swapped on new EBC rotors and balanced the tires. That annoying shake in the left fender while braking is gone. Also replaced a little plastic skid plate that was cracked. I so hate the stupid plastic fasteners these things are held together with. I fought one for 20 mins trying to line it...

Has anyone ever opened a Paypal dispute?

Good luck to you. I hope you bank stands with you on the deal. I don't even have a debit card because I feel it's another layer of protection from a scammer being able to get into my bank account. With a CC, your money isn't already gone from your account, so the bank has a good reason to...

Has anyone ever opened a Paypal dispute?

When Marcus at M2 folded, Paypal was just acting like an AI mediator. There was zero participation from Marcus who was just dragging out the process because he had XX days to respond before it would move on to the next step. I called my CC issuer for advice. They told me to file a claim with...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I just ordered a set from Lamonster. We have a 6-10K mile trip coming up and that shaking is hard on all of the chassis components.

    Canyon top box Rant!

I agree with ya! It's pretty rough swallowing the MSRP of the Redrock to get the KYBs and then toss the included luggage to get into some usable storage? We just did a prepack yesterday for a 23 day trip and found the storage on the wife's 2023 RTL, 177 liters of lockable storage, just about...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Agreed! I would never do one side for a client, but would consider doing one OEM rotor on my wife's, assuming it stopped straight afterward. $150 for a single OEM rotor or $260 for a pair of EBC's, no brainer there! Considered even mounting it up on the brake lathe to take runout and possibly...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Did you do both rotors or only the offending one? Nvm; I looked back and saw you got the set.

Have you experienced any Road rage incidents?

I've had cage drivers act out after making a clean pass (even if it wasn't technically legal) and try some crazy stuff. It's not hard when we have the hp advantage. Crank it up to 125mph for a few mins and if there are corners coming up, it's even easier to lose them! The main thing I think...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

We have been battling a front vibe issue while on the brake as well. It's the LF wheel because I can see the fender shaking only when on the brake. I took the rotor off and scuffed it in on the lathe with a flapper wheel with no change, hoping it was maybe some ceramic friction embedded into the...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Easy, but I do this work for a living and have all the trick tools? I was swapping on a new tire, so that made the shock r&r much easier.

Oil Change and swapped in the 600lb spring onto the rear Elka shock.

M2 shocks closing doors in 2 weeks! Announced 1st week of Sept '24.

@cmarsala, if your shocks have Bilstein seal heads, I probably have parts on the shelf. Where are you located?

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

Yes, gave them A LOT of data points on rider profile, use, loads carried, and mods to the bike such as Ron's sway bar. The tech crew was completely unavailable (they never return VM's) to me even though I'm a dealer and everything has to go through a salesman. I think a lot is lost in the...

Just ordered a Wilbers 640 rear shock! :)

Air pressure required to level is going to depend on a combination of shock length, spring rate, and preload? I measured the RT before removing the shock with the air dumped so that I could duplicate it after reassembly with the preload collar thinking this would put us real close to OEM...

Can you feel any Difference in the Suspension between an XT and a RedRock Canyon?

That would make the rebound damping issue I loathe even worse. Adding air to the bag increases suspension ride frequency requiring less compression/more rebound damping for a balanced result. Does a underinflated or overinflated basketball return to your hand quicker?
