• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

Here in WA, it was 37° this morning... I was nice and toasty!!

Can you show us how you installed the power cables for your heated gear?

I have the Tourmaster Synergy BT. I have multiple bikes and also teach on a large parking lot. The battery is about the size of an iPhone and on Medium, it powers the jacket AND gloves for about 5 hours. It's so good to plug it in on the bike, and then when I reach the teaching lot, I unplug it...

I just bought a new toy yesterday :)

I'll never give up my 2-wheels... BMW 1250GS and Kawasaki KLX 300 I actually have more fun on the smaller KLX...

Is an OEM backrest the best on a 2020 RT Limited

I wear an Air Bag and/or a jacket with a proper back protector. I could not get the OEM backrest adjusted far enough back to get comfortable.

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

I think I've purchased my last 5-6 vehicles between Christmas and New Years... Some awesome deals during this time!!

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

I was one of the consultants in writing the User Manual with Bob when they opened in Snohomish.... enough said!

Right blinker repeater on cluster not working, left blinker ok. All outer blinkers working fine. Any clues?

Same here! I think the only fix would be a new Instrument Cluster....

Put an ISCI Hand brake on my RTL - works very well.

I put one on mine and posted about it. Using the hand/foot together makes it a lot easier. The lever is pretty large and you need a good grip, but it is just as powerful as the foot pedal if you have the grip strength. It's also great for cancelling the Cruise Control, or giving drivers behind...

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

Doesn't mean it's not an option. There are plenty for sale...

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

Then there is the Yamaha Niken and the Tilting Motor Works Trike conversions that lock when you come to a standstill so you don't have to hold it up at a Stoplight.

One of the best things about being a 3-Wheel Instructor are the classes in the Snow!! In WA State, we teach students how to drift!! WA State says it's an evasive maneuver, as is "Flying a Side-Car"... Love it!!!

Hope I'm not done riding my Spyder for the year?!

I've ridden in 26 degrees with no problem. Heated gear is your friend - just like riding in 112 degree weather. There are things out there to make your riding a lot more comfortable. Just think what those snowmobile riders wear. Did you know there are heated helmets/visors now!!

All 50 State's Motorcycle Laws - AMA Database link

Great link for reference - though my State, WA, is incomplete. There are a lot more that I teach in my classes...

Kenda Kanine front tires - Where’s the beef?

I put the Kanines on all 3 wheels and took a VERY spirited ride to Leavenworth... about 220 miles roundtrip. I came back in a downpour... They worked perfectly. No need to look for car tires...

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

Yeah, for me, I just didn't like the body style of the newer '20+ models. I definitely didn't want the first model of the 1330, since most times manufacturers are working the bugs out. I wanted a '16 - '18 and found the perfect mint specimen. Zero problems... I think I got a Unicorn...
