• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Sorry Bob I can't find where I wrote down codes that were shown on the display. Will have to check with dealer for codes. I had an orange screen saying ABS fault. Dealer replaced module for ABS brakes. i can check with him tomorrow.

    I agree that we should make sure we are updated to the latest software settings. But my spyder did not put on the brakes, it just stopped accelerating in the acceleration lane with traffic right behind it. "Limp mode" gave no warning to me or any visible signals to the drivers behind me...

    I had a bad experience with my 2010 RT going into "limp mode". I was in the turn lane and accelerating on to a 55 mph highway. Behind me was a line of cars also accelerating to highway speed. My trike suddenly stopped accelerating and slowed. Fortunately for me, the cars behind hit brakes hard...

    This is my first spyder event and I was going for the vendors, group events, and the group rides which includes the tail of the dragon and several others. Do most people do their own thing or group? When I went to Sturgis and Daytona on 2 wheels, we did our own thing because it wasn't vendor...

    Spyder in the Smokies

    Our first spyder event so we are looking forward to the Dragon and some great riding. Can't wait to meet other spyder lovers.
