• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Went for a cool 100 mile ride down to the South fork of the Honeydew river. It was nice and sunny and 48° F. I don't particularly like to ride when the Sun is so low this time of the year, but I must ride.

    Rode North on Hwy CA 101 up to the rest area near Trinidad CA, and stopped to clean my faceshield and mirrors. It was sunny when I left, but foggy up North, and a bit chilly.

    Went on a short 30 mile ride around Humboldt Bay. Used my Gerbing heated gauntlet gloves for the 1st time in a while. It's freezing here. 50° lol

    Today, I might go for another ride. I just got through cleaning it up and doing the pre-flight inspections and fluid checks. While cleaning the left wheel, I found a roofing nail with half of the head wedged between the tire sipes on the Vredestein tread! It didn't penetrate the carcass. Whew...
