• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Difference riding an STS vs F3S ??

    The back rest I put on my F3S fixed the pressure on my tail bone problem. I also added a gel pad ( Butt buffer brand) to further enhance the comfort. I'm not a touring type, so as long as I can ride 300 miles in comfort I'm G2G. The F3S is surgical in the turns, and its fast & low.

    I use a Butt buffer gel pad. It works for me.

    On my F3S the tension is set at 220 with the krikit gauge, and has been at that setting for 13,000 miles.

    Life definitely does LOL. Its sure is a beautiful state you live in. I've only been able to sneak a ride or 2 lately. We're currently unpacking our household goods into our new place.

    Towing - To cover, or not to cover?

    We towed My F3S behind our Dodge Durango GT on our 12' utility trailer from East TN to Nor-Cal (3,000 mi.) with no cover. It got dirty, but no big deal. No damage either. I also towed my Jeep during the same trip behind our motorhome uncovered, but it got really dirty in the engine...

    I put the Route 129 windshield on. I find myself riding more miles on the Highway, now that I no longer live in the Great State of Twisty's (Tennessee). I sure miss them roads.

    87 Octane seems to work just fine

    We can only get 91 octane here in California, so I use that. I'd run 87 in a heartbeat if I had to, but I go with what the manufacturer recommends.

    Added the Tufskinz Domed real Carbon Fiber right & left access cover overlays. Just couldn't keep the plastic free of scratches from my tough as leather hands.

    My F3S got pushed out of way, so I could put together our new Blackstone propane Griddle, and season it. Had my Daughter and our Grandkids over, and my Brother, for Smash Burgers, and Gigi's (Grandma's) potato salad, and a fruit plate. There may have also been an adult beverage or two...
