• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

I also hate that notion. (over the hill) However we hear it all the time. Btw: I have another year before I hit 40. :-)

    Guess RS crowd doesn't rate

Very well said. The Can-am Spyder is becoming synonymous with "the Mature demographic". Here's hoping the faith shown towards BRP R&D will come to fruition as it pertains to the RS/RSS.

    Guess RS crowd doesn't rate

Agreed. I certainly am satisfied with my RSS. As others (including myself) have noted, focus (as of late) is not towards the RS/RSS lineup and improvement (based on RS/RSS rider feedback). It is based on revenue. BRP's revenue (roadster) primarily comes from the touring demographic. Of...

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

Over the hill as is +50 is not old (nor useless), just a identifiable demographic that BRP Focuses on. As noted, I didn't intend on offending any of the seniors. :>

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

Bob, I get excited each year. Each year, I am let down. I 100% FULLY expect another ST/RT focus for 2015. BRP is certainly making more $ from their older RT/ST demo. No surprise there. I do not expect any focus to be made towards a model that is not as "Popular" as the other. This...

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

That sounds about right. When we last had a poll here, the results were very similar. I agree that due to the price point and marketing, the Spyder demographic is older. As a stock holder and Spyder owner, I openly express my disappointment based on my "RSS Ownership" and the current focus...

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

That's what I was referring to when I noted: I understand where their market dominance is.... It's NOT with Sport Riders. It's hardly hostility. It's disappointment.

That's your opinion. Am I not entitled to my own? Just calling a spade a spade.

Not very sleek looking. If anything it looks cheap. Sorry, but I am not impressed.

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

WHen it comes to BRP's Roadster Focus, It's all about the seniors it seems. I understand where their market dominance is.... It's NOT with Sport Riders. No wonder the Can-Am Spyder is so strongly associated with Over the Hill riders.... Was disappointed with last years cosmetic upgrades...

So what would make you trade up to a 2014?

:> If they were to release an updated RSS that provided a slight cosmetic re-design/enhancement (Not at all reminiscent to the direction they took with the 2013 models), something meaner looking. Wider tires, more so in the rear. A larger displacement engine. More compact and aggressive. Most...

Many New High end Motorcycles now provide similar Nanny functionality as the Spyder.

I was checking out some of the new 2014 motorcycles and noticed more and more, these modern conventional motorcycles are now designed with similar safety protocols. Such as traction control, abs breaks etc. For example the new 2014 Yamaha R1. It comes with an interface in which you can select up...
