• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 STS Speedo Back light not working - easy repair or complete gauge replacement?

I'd be betting on LEDs on a printed circuit board in the gauge, not really user replaceable. You'd either have to disassemble and solder in a new LED or replace the whole cluster. I'm an electrical engineer and electronics hobbyist and have repaired and build my own circuit boards. The RPM...

Need to know how to use the 529036476 Spacer to set my Ryker's SAS to zero?

You're overthinking this. Why a slot instead of a hole? Who knows? Maybe the spacer has other applications on different vehicles. Just use it as illustrated. And yes, you could make your own.

Need to know how to use the 529036476 Spacer to set my Ryker's SAS to zero?

I guess I don't understand. Center the handlebars, slip the spacer underneath the arm, insert the countersunk screw through the arm and spacer and tighten.

Is this a Major Electrical Short??? Any suggestions?

Post photos of the relays with the part numbers readable and I'll tell you how to test them.

    Ryker turning left Issues

I just moved the radiator. Self cancelling was fixed.

Does anyone have/recommend any Universal fit soft saddle bags on the Ryker

I used Chase Harper Aeropac saddlebags, but I did adapt some Harley Sportster supports to use them. I don't see how you could properly secure soft saddlebags without some means of support.

    Ryker turning left Issues

I also filed a report. Installation instructions for the Steering Update Kit are here: https://brp.my.salesforce-sites.com/ISPublicArticleInfo/apex/BWLightningViewerWithTranslate?#id=kA03x000000YsSRCA0&googtrans(en|en_US) Visit https://instructions.brp.com/e-instruction.html#tab=1 and enter...

No Neutral on 2021 F3S - anyone else had this problem?

I had trouble shifting into neutral when I first got my 2014 RSS. Turns out I was holding the downshift lever too long. I need to give it a very quick flick to select neutral.

    Ryker turning left Issues

Yes. Without the kit the plastic coupler gets worn leading to errors in measurement. I opened the bad SAS up and examined it - the shaft was a bit wobbly. I wonder if lack of the kit caused damage to the SAS. Turn signals not cancelling is a sign that the SAS is not zeroed properly, as a zero...

Is there a resistance test for the Yaw sensor? Getting Codes C006C and C0063 and the VSS Light with bumps on corners.

There is no resistance test for the yaw sensor. When the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) and yaw do not agree, the yaw may be blamed but it may be the SAS.

Which part is responsible for turning the radiator fan on and off?

The ECM turns the fan on and off, not the coolant temperature sensor. This question should have been asked: What symptom are you experiencing? Overheating? Fan not running? Fan always running? Fan running more often than usual? What does your temperature gauge show?

Is this a Major Electrical Short??? Any suggestions?

Can you read a wiring diagram? It can be used to help isolate the issue. For example, I've been studying the wiring diagram. There are two main relays. One powers the ECM, fuel pump, and other things needed to start the engine. The other powers the cluster, transmission control module...

Which part is responsible for turning the radiator fan on and off?

From the Service Manual: As was stated, the sensor is connected to the ECM and the ECM operates the fan relay.

Is this a Major Electrical Short??? Any suggestions?

First, if you haven't tested relays and looked for bad connections, and based on what I understand to be your symptoms, I would not assume that you have a bad ECM. The ECM is Engine Control Module, and your engine starts and runs. Things like turn signals are not controlled by the ECM. Turn...
