• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

@mecsw500 I concur with the engine, and agree the wheels look like something out of Tron/Bladerunner..! @nightfalcon @Peter Aawen I've not read or aware of the fuel gauge, as reliable as, and as useful as a politician? Any tips, such as do the maths per trip to gauge when to fill? Edit: typos

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Following on from my disappointment from Mondays 2027 line up, we in the UK will have a Rally after all! No limited model... EDIT: Hope it retains the suspension/shocks from the 2026 model, power down from 82 to 79 BHP, wonder if thats for the overall refinement and less stress on the 3 pot...

Check out the new 2027 Can-Am Ryker!

Looks dfferent (lights etc) to Mondays reveal, AI generated, especially the voice? YT seems to contain a lot of AI clickbait of Can Am's I've not seen before...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Thanks @mecsw500, @nightfalcon, and @greer for ergonomic advice and riser/adjustments. I'm more legs than torso, so it sounds a Ryker will fit, or maybe need some easy tweaks! @greer, the summer cold made me smile! I'm trying to work up a clear morning for a 2hr round trip plus the ride and...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Hi Sarah, Alas not yet, as the local dealer's opening hours are the same as my working hours, so to date I've merely been "remote" window shopping. I did read about height being a factor, at 6' hopefully all models would fit, acknowledging that the Ryker has handlebar adjustability, versus...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

thanks @greer Sarah, I've read your info filled post, thank you! That got me thinking of a Sport v Rally, opting for a Sport over the Rally and upgrading the shocks as you've done. Only limitation for us Brits who aren't spanner handy, we don't (to my knowledge) have any indy specialist...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Thanks @weeneil, shall do. I am reading through the manual and scanning the posts. I'm aware of the RHS air filter upgrade, various recalls, key start (magnet), end links, to name a few; oh, and the riding styles. As with the minefield of opinions, other conversations have advised 4 wheeled...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Thanks @weeneil , any mods you've made to help with the road surfaces? EDIT: Local dealer is open Monday to Friday, so unable to arrange a test drive until some free time at work. Wonder if theres a UK worst road surfaces league...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Cockney with a US twist! Half of my work team are US based, writing a document/email in the UK, for it to then have spelling mistakes in the US is a daily norm! You have my sympathy! Indeed, suggesting the brand isn't as established or has the same demand as the US. I've a list of local...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Thanks @mecsw500, that’s sound advice and while I’m not going to be a wet weather rider, and the current gear shopping list is mainly woven material jackets, I’ll ensure the waterproofs in my Overboard bag go with me! Good advice on the boots too, I had not considered that, and the protection...

UK Ryker owners - Is a Ryker Rally Suitable for UK's Potholed Roads?

Hi All, First time posting and have been reading/researching the Can Am’s since being intrigued a week ago researching the Sea-Doo brand. Having promised the folks I'd never get a motorbike, a Ryker/Spyder seems a happy alternative. I appreciate and am well aware they don’t mitigate risks...
