• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Up/Downshift Issues - I may have found the cause.

In my case, the Veteran's Administration and Air Force both know exactly the causes of my maladies. Major injuries to my Lumbar and Cervical Spine along with some TBI residuals... So at least I have a verified reason as to why I'm crazy...LOL

Up/Downshift Issues - I may have found the cause.

Tell me about it. I'm not just arcing and sparking, I've got too many totally dead subsystems now. (Neuropathy sucks)

Up/Downshift Issues - I may have found the cause.

I had the dealer replace it with a new assembly and had them give me the old one so I could completely tear it down at home and diagnose the issue. I'm a retired,100% disabled electronics tech and Aircraft Electrician, and the contortions needed are beyond my capabilities now. Someone with...

Up/Downshift Issues - I may have found the cause.

To all of us who have suffered the shifting issues on our RT's, F3's, and whatever, after spending nearly $900 to get the left grip assembly replaced, I asked for the old part and then proceeded to tear it down in my electronics lab once I got home. What I found astounded me. It turned out...

Installing Rear view/backup camera - what wire & where to trigger it?

As for my 712D, I hooked it all up via my bluetooth and only use the BRP Convict for keeping my phone charged. As for the order of connection, my Android is connected to the 712D and my Cardo Neo. The Cardo is connected to my phone for primary channel and my Garmin is on the secondary channel...

2015 Spyder RT SE6 shifting problems

I just came back from the shop after having this very issue diagnosed and was told it was a bad left switch group assembly... parts and labor for the estimate were $800 roughly after taxes and all. However, it IS an intermittent issue where she won't go into reverse, neutral, downshift...

Installing Rear view/backup camera - what wire & where to trigger it?

I purchased a Carpuride 712D just as an inexpensive introduction to the Carplay/Camera unit tech, especially with the $50 off coupon and I'm actually quite happy with it https://carpuride.com/collections/products-with-dash-cam/products/carpuride-w712d-rotatable-motorcycle-gps-device-with-dashcam

My invention - A new twist on Rooftop Tents

Haven't weighed it yet, though the specs say the trailer weighs 120 Lbs. Tires 4.8 x 12 https://www.northerntool.com/products/ultra-tow-40in-x-48in-aluminum-utility-trailer-kit-1060-lb-load-capacity-49804#hotbar-description RTT 167 Lbs...

My invention - A new twist on Rooftop Tents

The farthest I've done to date was an Iron Butt ride from Tallahassee Fl. to Austin Tx. in 17 Hours. 1K Miles in a straight shot. She towed like a dream, as long as I kept her at 67 MPH or lower. Above that the trailer starts getting twitchy and the fuel mileage really starts to suffer, but I...

My invention - A new twist on Rooftop Tents

I love camping, but being retired and disabled, sleeping on the ground and going through the effort of erecting a tent kills the joy of it. So I invented a new take on RTT's. It only takes a couple of minutes to put up and the rig carries everything I need for an enjoyable trip.

What is this BRP harness extra connector actually for?

My first suggestion would be to remove the tape from the wire and check the color code to the bike wiring schematic to find where it originates and that will tell you it's purpose.
