• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Roadside assistance

Seems like the guys that make the machine should know what it takes to transport it. Not impressive at all!

Anyone done a BajaRon Shock Adjuster Installation?

:agree: The spring compressor Ron offers is so good I went ahead and bought mine. Very good piece of equipment meant to work with the smaller coil size on the Spyder. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?121688-2018-RTL-Baja-Ron-Preload-Adjusters-Installed&referrerid=34189

Looks to be electric. Under Specs it shows 48V/350W.

    Battery change

My 2018 is the same as yours. The battery isn't too bad, as long as you have the super double top secret handshake. By now you know it's in the frunk, accessible by removing the 2 Torx screws from the cover. These are the standard size for the rest of the Spyder. Next you remove the negative...

    Which one is the best???

Mr Martin, I'm not running a cat delete (yet) but unless you do a dyno run on each, what would be the point other than sound? Feel of the pants? That's OK, but perhaps the sound influences that.

Need help 2018 RT brake not releasing & b/light flashing

That was one of the contributors to my failures, it would only manifest in the heat. Below about 90°F it wouldn't show up, everything acted normal.

Need help 2018 RT brake not releasing & b/light flashing

The 2018's have some known problems with the left switch pack (something to do with the parking brake circuit), and also the parking brake motor. Mine had to have both replaced under warranty. By the flashing brake light if you mean the indicator on the dash that is the indication of a brake...

    Aftermarket fender lights/turn signals

You could make a harness with the OEM style waterproof connectors (which I have seen referenced as AMP Superseal 1.5). That's the ones you disconnect to remove the mirrors. But then you'd have to make the harness long enough to reach outside to the mirror, and I didn't fancy having all the...

    Aftermarket fender lights/turn signals

I too installed sequential front fender lights, mine had plenty of wire. I find it ironic that the manufacturer makes the main tie in down by the suspension waterproof with an AMP 1.5 Superseal, but everything else either isn't waterproof or either actually substandard (the T-Tap). I cut the...

    Top Rear shock bolt?

When I juggled my rear shock in and out, I found I couldn't quite get to the top bolt and nut at the same time. I ended up removing all the Tupperware and using a long extension and wobble socket on one side, and having a second person on the other holding backup, made this job easier (for me).

    2018 F3L suspension fault?

Not an F3 Rider, but I think I read that the F3 Limited has self leveling rear suspension. If so, my RT Limited had the same problem when I made my rear shock adjustable. Simply put, the ride height computer keeps the air bag inflated to a certain narrow range of heights in the middle of the...
