• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Don't know if the wear is linear. I thought that I read from a past post that the wear was faster at the beginning and then slowed.

    I can do an oil and filter change for around $80 with a far superior lubricant than what you get for what I understand is over $300 from the dealer. Your first oil change pays for the magnets and maintenance manual. There are some great videos on doing some of the more challenging items also...

    My 2017 RT is Difficult to start after riding and then sitting for a hour - anyone else? Is it a dud fuel pump, bad injectors, or what?

    I did go with the upgrade plugs from Ron and I have run them passed the 28,000 mile replacement window. I have the new ones on the shelf and plan on replacing them when the weather gets cold. I hate that job on my RTL!

    My 2016 has ignition coils over each of the plugs. Is there a mileage requirement for the changing of these or if defective?

    87 Octane seems to work just fine

    I agee that 87 will work but please no hard acceleration from a low RPM. Learn to downshift before putting the hammer down. Lot more fun also.

    They only show you the front that states a 10 point increase/tab. To their credit they do fess up on the back. I guess, what do you expect for a buck!

    Just received the tabs. Finer print on the back states that 10 points = 1 octane increase. 1 tab will increase 10 points and 2 tabs will increase 17 points when used with 91 octane. I still plan on the trial but will use 2 tabs with the mid-grade 89 octane. Doing the math 89 + 1.7 should get me...

    My overall mpg to date is 37.81. My overall cost/mile to date is $.1036. I ride pretty hard when I'm not cruising but most of my rides are fairly long with mostly cruising. I hope this stuff is not snake oil as I am not willing to tolerate any pinging or loss of performance during hard acceleration.
