• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How did I mess this up?!!! Removed the frunk to do some work, ran the Spyder with it off, & now have all sorts of warnings & Limp Home Mode!! Help?!

I would double check with all the connections and drive it locally and see if the warning light shuts off. May have to do this a few times shutting it down and restarting. Worked for me the last time I raised the back to realign the belt and got warnings. Mine shut off in the first ride. Good...

Did the Bears get some 'extra help' in their defeat of the Packers?

Its looking likely that the rubber game is on. Only thing that needs to be worked out is where it will be played. Go Pack Go!

Did the Bears get some 'extra help' in their defeat of the Packers?

We need the rubber game in the playoffs. It would be a huge must see.

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

I'm surprised that nobody mentioned engine braking when negotiating a curve. Using your right wrist to control your speed is safer than brakes. Sometimes you need to grab two gears! Won't hurt a thing and you will find that you have way more control at the higher revs.

Which AfterMarket fuel filter do you use for your F3?

I took mine off and took it in to NAPA. They sent me home with a Wicks #3095. I have replaced mine 2X now with the same. Around $5 out the door. Check your hoses as my short bypass hose had significant cracking so it got replaced also.

Can You See Me Now? New lights fitted.

No problem seeing a bike at night or on a cloudy day but I have noticed on a bright sunny day that some lights specially the bright white LEDs don't stand out as well as some of the yellow tinged ones.

Has this Clutch Late Lockup always been there???

Are you sure it is not the engine surging? Now that the weather is cooling down a bit, mine bucks when I first take off. It never dies and once it warms up slightly, it never does this anymore. I think it is the computer searching for a solution for a cold engine. Back in the day, you had to...

Should I get a 2014 now, or wait and get a newer model? Any 'gotta have' features?

If you buy this machine check the dates on the tires. If the front tires are the originals they must be changed no mater how much tread they still have. Unless you can determine when the brake fluid and coolant was last changed these should be changed out also.

Kenda tires - I truly don't understand the hateful responses to Kenda tires. I have over 22,000 km on mine and they're only 50% worn.

Don't be surprised as the rear wears it gets really scary on wet roads. The slightest acceleration gets it spinning.

Changed my Spark plugs/HCM filter/oil and filter/fuel filter - Shifts better now!

They charged you for 60 oz of brake fluid for a system that only holds 17 oz. I don't use BUDS when I do mine. I may have to rethink how I do mine.

Did you go with the upgraded spark plugs from BajaRon?

Long Weekend Incident Report – Can-Am Spyder RT Limited

I was able to rescue my RTL from a guy that had only put 4,722 miles on it in 4 years. Since then I have logged almost 65,000 miles and the only non-routine maintenance has been the front sprocket recall and a faulty cam position sensor that let me limp home where I was able to replace myself...

24 RT with a Delay in gear upshift, but not all the time - anyone else? Any fixes?

Mine does this also but I think it only happens when I get lazy and don't release the shifter crisply!
