• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wanna know why Amazon, Ebay and others exist?

I went to the Kawasaki dealer I got my Concours from to get oil and filter. I use Kawasaki oil, guess what? They don't carry it, so I walked out with a filter only. From then on I, get whatever I need online. I tried to be a good customer. Probably do the same thing when I get my Spyder.

Best time to buy a Spyder?

None of the Spyder dealers near me have an RT or F3 tour to compare seating positions. When do the new ones hit the dealer floors? I would really like to compare them side by side to decide which is best for me. Thanks much.

    Snow Spyder?

Anybody use their Spyder on snowy roads? If so do you change to more aggressive tires?

    Another newbie question re cornering

I'm not giving advice just my thoughts on the Spyder/ snowmobile relationship. Gee whiz.

    Another newbie question re cornering

Now I've never ridden a Spyder but from the get go I've felt they need to be ridden like a snowmobile. I did have a Moto Ski back in the 80's, you have to really hang off on the inside of turns to prevent rolling over. I imagine it's the same idea on a Spyder except the computer helps stop the...

Shout out to Ultimate Seats for Ultimate Service

I had an Ultimate seat on a Victory Cross Roads in the Ostrich look fabric. Best damn seat I ever used. I rode 4400 miles on it in 2 weeks on it,never had butt burn , monkey butt, etc. Temps were in 90s most of the trip, sweating like a pig. May get another when I finally get a Spyder. Just my...

Question for current or past sportbike riders.

Again, thanks for all the input. Looks like I'm not alone in this boat.

Question for current or past sportbike riders.

Thanks for the note, sounds like you were in the same spot as me. I just love the Concours but I'm starting to get wobbly at stops now. I think it might be due to the meds I'm taking. Not having to balance sure would be nice.

Question for current or past sportbike riders.

Thanks for the input guys! I just have so much pain from riding anymore that it would be impossible for me to tour on the Concours. I guess that's what got me thinking about the Spyder. The wife gave me the OK , now just have to sell some stuff but I hate to give up 2 wheels.

Question for current or past sportbike riders.

I've been a sportbike owner/lover for the last 30 years or so. I'm not ready to give up my Concours14 to get a Spyder just yet. I would like to hear from sportbike people that have a Spyder, mainly considering cornering and performance compared to their sportbike experience. If you could...

Cleaning - anybody using Cmx ceramic spray coating from Mother’s?

I've not tried it yet but planning to use it on my truck as it sits out side. I read the application process on one of the bottles, it says you need to do it twice for the full protection. I'm gonna get some this weekend.

How do you avoid hitting potholes? 3 wheels makes it difficult!

As I don't have a Spyder yet, I'm curious as to how do you avoid the potholes? With 3 wheels in 3 planes it's gotta be harder to swerve around em than a motorcycle or a car. Is the suspension so good you don't even try to swerve? Just something I've been thinking about for awhile.

95,000 mile RT, would you buy it?

I'm in the Northeastern part of Ohio. The best roads are in the Southeastern part of Ohio. I bet a Spyder would be fun on those twisties. Thanks for the offer!

95,000 mile RT, would you buy it?

You guys are top-notch, really gives me something to think about. I'm not ready to give up the Concours, it's just a blast to ride plus the bags and I have a trunk for it. My back will tell me when it's time to give it up more than likely. I'm 62 and hoping I can ride into my seventies using a...

95,000 mile RT, would you buy it?

My back issues prevent me from doing some maintenance but other then major engine work/ fuel injection stuff I'm good. I can't remove wheels due to my back. They are asking $14,000 which I feel is too high but I've not looked at either.
